- Mina| 1 replyThey leave a message saying that I can call this number cause they have a complaint with me. So it's to give them money. But I won't call them back. I answer it I say this is the fraud department. All fraud calls come to fraud dept and they hang up. They also have a so called case number. But the number that they tell me to call keeps changing after I answer it and say it's the fraud dept

- Kevin| 2 repliesThey call from different numbers and leave a message saying they need to confirm my home and business address so they can serve me with a complaint. I answered one of them and played along until I got enough information. I then stopped them in mid-conversation stating that they have actually been speaking with a police investigator specializing in scams and they have been on the phone long enough for us to trace their exact location and that units were heading to them to discuss the "complaint". Heard an audible "oh sh*t" and then the line went dead. LOL

- Des Dech| 1 replyThey keep leaving voicemails threatening to show up at my place of work to handle a matter I have.
- Little Old Lady| 1 replyI can see where some people might fall for this scam. But, that's just what it is -- a scam. They want your home and business addresses to serve you with a complaint to take your property. Horse crap. This stuff should be illegal, and people who pull this stunt to prey on the elderly should be sentenced to hard labor in a desert somewhere -- the hotter, the better.

- DebraSame as all the above numbers. They want to serve a complaint. I've been getting this call twice a day. I'm tired of it.
- DeeThis business is calling my line fraudulently from different numbers in Maryland. I don't not live in Maryland and they ask that I call Delaware to settle this fake complaint (I have never lived there either). They give me different case numbers every time they call and threaten to send me to jail etc. They are not able to provide me with a business name or address. Its a SCAM. Please beware!

- Rachel GroomeCalled saying there is a claim against my husband and he is being served and to call this number and give claim number #. I called back and they put you on a fake "hold". When I asked what business this was the Dept of Litigation then hung up. I called back. Then she said I was harassing her and that I'm being tracked and someone would be at my home to serve me. I hung up. Now she keeps calling from an 855 number.

Said they had fraud cases on me from Ace Cash Express and Continental Finance and they needed my home address. Ace Corporate said they checked (and their database goes back many years) and my name or social IS NOT tied to any accounts in their system current or old. By the way I have an active card with Continental Finance that has been in good standing for near 2 years now so that was handled quickly and Continental Finance also said there were no outstanding loans or debts in my name or social security new or old.- Caller: Pre-Trial Litigations

- Shane replies to Little Old LadyAgreed ! I just got the call this AM on my land line, which I never answer, just use for messages--like this one?
This one was a heavy male voice, but you could tell it was a recording (uh, maybe not) because there were two gaps/spaces in the presentation -- the one for my name, which I couldn't understand. They may have used my last name first. The second gap was the case number: "Case number . . . . long pause . . . " until the numbers came on. I thought mine was a computer calling with a second program filling in the gaps. - ShamilThis number is from a frausters. Do not call back.
