Great idea. I got the same message as everyone else and when i first it i was like... No way... I havent done anything wrong so what the heck. And that's when i googled it and found all these other answers. Im glad i didnt call back or pick up when they called me. Smh. If they used their time and energy to actually do something good they would be great people... Sad that they are doing this with their life.

Same as above. I called and the lady said I had a line of credit I defaulted on. I have no line of credit anywhere. She talked to fast and wouldn’t let me ask questions. I told her to send me something that shows my signature and documents proving. She kept talking over me and hung up on me. I called back and she said it’s their policy not to go back and forth. I asked her why I couldn’t ask questions to substantiate the supposed claim against me. And yet again she hung up on me. ABSOLUTE SCAM.

Calling to inform me about a payday loan from a long time ago that wasn’t paid for.

Received multiple calls leaving this number: 302-232-6637. Stating this number to "reach the client", to discuss the matter. Also a threat to show up at home or place of employment. There are MANY posts from different websites saying that this is FRAUD. Do not send money. I refuse to even call them back.

I agree with this it's fraud.

This man left messages on my phone saying there are 2 pending items, that they been trying to reach me by phone they are going to call my place of employment. yes I agree this is a scam. They are fake. I got this call this morning. no business name no company just left messages. They just want money trying to get your information. They have been calling cell and work i have blocked them from cell, but work is hard.

I got the same call came today, on my answering machine: i.e. a male voice telling me there were "two pending cases" and contact 302-232-6637, a file number and if I don't they will come to my home or place of employment. Good luck on that latter as I'm retired! Thank you everyone for sharing! As I can rest easy knowing it's just a scam and not a real debt collector.

Received voicemail from 904-203-1948 about being served documents about some complaint and to call this number with case #GEX389951

Called this number. They try to act like they're helping you with legal representation. When you tell them they're a scam, they love talking back with profanity and arguing.  They're scum. Time to make these dirtbags pay.

2 pending cases. They are coming to my house on October 5th and need two forms of ID to show them and I've been legally notified. How can you legally notify someone over a mobile number?

You can't legally notify someone over the phone but the scammers are hoping you don't know that. They also hope you don't know that real process servers don't call in advance.
