Number IDs as a trucking company, but when you answer, caller identifies as Midwest Recovery Systems, then claims to be calling to collect a debt from a company we've never heard of. Now won't stop calling even though we've told them not to call again and to put it in writing.

A trucking company that is also a debt collector.  Wow, talk about diversification.  Getting calls about an old bill that the statute of limitations ran out on long ago.  Made an offer to pay it about eight years ago in exchange for them removing it from my credit report.  They turned me down flat.  Going to block the number.  Suggest anyone else in this shape do the same.
