I let this call go to vm and when I retrieved it, the message was partially cut off.  It was an automated robotic voice saying '....local cops custody as there four serious allegations against your name. Unless you want to be in local cops custody, please call me back at *stated number, and then repeated number* and hung up.  Scam!  My VM does not have my name attached to it and I sincerely doubt that any professional would refer to the police as 'cops'.AND you are not notified of warrants via automated calls leaving messages on unidentified vm.

IRS scam.  The IRS does not call.  They use the USPS.  They also do not issue arrest warrants without first hearing your side.  The reason no name is mentioned is that it is a generic message sent to thousands, if not millions, in the hope that you will call back and tell them your name.  At this point, they'll pretend to pull out your file and claim you owe thousands and the you can't pay by credit card, debit card, or check.  They will only accept gift cards.  They will then ask you to tell them the secret code on the back of the gift card and loot your card of its value with no way to trace it back to the scammers.  Best advice: ignore the call!
