Telemarketers for a scam commission sales "job" -- they harvest phone numbers off of CareerBuilder.

yea i got a call from that today and they said they were some bank place and that was it.

Just got same place. Wasn't super clear. Tons of background noise. Said they were a bank place and found my resume "online" but no specifics. No thanks.

just got this call too... sounded totally not legit.. and definitely a lot of background noise and crackling noises over the phone which made it so hard to understand. she went as far as to give me an appointment time next week. gave me an address that turned out to be the ramada inn when i looked it up. she kept saying how much her manager wanted to meet me.. couldn't really tell me what they were about or wanted... umm yeah i agree, NO THANKS!

I got a call yesterday from a Tracey.  It was hard to hear exactly what she said, but it sounded like Bankhurst Life and Casualty Company.

A quick google search came up with Bankers Life and Casualty Company.  When I tried to call it back, I get her voicemail.  She sounds like a natrual english speaker to me.

Other than the background noise and all these posts about this same type of thing, it sounded legitimate to me.

This sucks.  Here I am out of work for a year and I've only gotten a few calls during that time.  Half of them are for commission sales jobs or "job opportunities" where they want me to pay money to sell their product.  I'm out of work people, I have no money to buy into your scams and I'm not a salesman.
