I have received recorded calls from this number several times in the last 3-4 days.  Always on my home phone.  I've returned the calls on my cell phone to avoid long distance charges.  I know I won't get any info from these guys, but I like messing with them.  I always get men with Middle-Eastern accents.  I have trouble understanding their English, and none of them are well trained.  This happens every year.  Last year, I tried insulting one man to get a reaction.  He started using profanity and went on for several minutes before hanging up.  I guess he gets tired of people telling him to go to hell.  I've called them back a dozen times, and finally they either blocked me or discontinued the number.  Which only sends them to a different number.  By the way, anyone here know why the telephone companies do not do anything about these calls?  I don't believe they can't.  I believe they don't want to.

Received the same scam from the 302.927-7422. Same guy, same accent, same script. I knew it was a scam as the IRS will never call you regarding your taxes. It is always done by mail. Anyway, I had a few minutes so I messed with him as much as I could. He got real frustrated when he could not keep to his script. He eventually hung up on me. Small fun, but fun all the same.

It looks like this scam got an upgrade.  Now instead of doing this himself, he has a recording do it for him.  I just got the call (have had a few messages already) and it was certainly a recording.

After getting calls recently from this number, I called another number (202-864-1328) used by IRS scammers in June 2015 and got the same Middle-Eastern [***] who are still running the same IRS scam a year later from the same phone number.  WHERE THE HELL IS OUR GOVERNMENT?  WHERE THE HELL IS OUR IRS ENFORCEMENT AGENTS?  WHY CAN A SCAM BY MIDDLE-EASTERN [***] RUN FOR A YEAR WITHOUT BEING SHUT DOWN?  Our government seems to care more about illegal immigrants than it does about the rights of LEGAL CITIZENS.  Why should we report phone calls like these if the government obviously does NOTHING about them.

Irs called , lawsuit, his name steve(yeah right) call 3029277422   blah blah blah blah. Everyone should prank call , write their numbers on every junk entry blank etc. Swamp their incoming!

Same  call -claim they are from the IRS -guy had an indian accent and you can hardly understand him
Claimed I owed money to the IRS and I was going to be arrested in 45 minutes for not paying my taxes.
I told him he was a spam call and he was going to be arrested in 45 minutes.  He hung up
When are they going to learn that the IRS sends notices by mail and not by phone.  So annoying

IRS SCAM.  They use this number for awhile, then shut it down, then re-activate it.  I call the number every day to check it.  Sometimes it's a non-working number, the next day it is answered (always by people with middle-east accents).  I could not understand the last guy and had to ask him to repeat everything over and over.  Finally he hung up.  If they are professional scammers, why don't they get good help?  And if they use the same numbers over and over, why doesn't OUR government find them and shut them down?  Maybe the government is afraid to "offend" our friends in the middle-east.   And can't our telephone gurus do something?  Maybe they make too much money from the scammers?   Can anyone help me understand why these scammers continue to operate?

Man with Indian accent called from same number with same statement  about impending legal action against me-  Do these people think we are stupid?  I blocked the call

Same thing happened to me.  I screamed as loudly as possible and hung up.

I am submitting this readable voice mail message from January 15, 2016.  The accent was thick so the translator/recorder misquoted the message.  Message as follows: "This  message and I'm calling regarding an enforcement action. Executed by US treasury and intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to a white initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jewelry for a federal criminal offense. My number is 302-927-7422. I repeat 302-927-7422. Alright wife you to cooperate the doors and helpers to help you. Thank you."

Had the same thing happen multiple times over the past few weeks. I called back and told them it was a scam, and to go get a real job in IT somewhere. I've worked in LE for over 25 years, and this is NOT how the feds do business.

Caller wanted to send a pdf to my email account on behalf of Spectrum Enterprise. When asked the caller claimed to work for IT Business Plus.

Mike, calling on behalf of Spectrum Enterprises, hung up instead of replying to a question any reputable business would readily answer.

The dumbest criminal in India called to tell us we owe the Treasury Department money. The caller doesn't know that somebody from the U.S. Treasury would never contact a citizen by telephone, for any reason. Blocked
