- George replies to meI agree with you !!
- GinnyI thought for sure this would be a spam call, since the phone number is definitely not from in my state, I didn't recognize it, and my caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME." But I picked it up anyway and just listened. After a good 10 seconds or so I got an automated message about an upcoming doctor's appointment I have.
So, it was a legit call but could easily have been written off by me as spam if I hadn't decided to listen for a few seconds and see what happened.- Call type: Event reminder
- BJ| 1 replyMy local medical providers call with their legitimate Caller ID's. I did not answer this because they have been spewing SPAM for about 8 years now!! This is another example of how insecure your medical records are! Your medical information is being harvested illegally and being used in Robo Calls!!
- Caller: IMPORTANT MSG
- BigA replies to BJWell now if you really believed that and had proof you would have sued them by now. Or are you simply one of those people who "assumes" things and doesn't really want to do anything about it anyway, but rant?
- Amy G.I received a call from this number. I didn't answer, don't even know where area code 303 is and don't really care. It's not around here, I know that! Turns out it was a doctors appointment reminder for my son. It must be a reminder service. Doctor he sees is in Oklahoma City...

- CJI keep getting a call from this number, too. They don't leave a message, just stay on the line long enough that my phone thinks there's a voicemail.
- Harassed| 1 replyBUy a Panasonic cordless phone. You can BLOCK up to 250 numbers. Totally worth the money. And this number? A bunch of crap. My healthcare providers DO NOT USE a service like this, I know for a fact. When are the phone companies and the cell phone providers going to DEAL with these crap robot calls and scam numbers? I get so many of these kinds of calls a day that it is unrealistic for the onus to me on me to report everyone. Would be a full time job. I screen every call now. I'd say in a day out of 20 calls, only 3 are legit. That's messed up. When the call block gets full? I erase it all and start over again. Only thing I can do.
- Caller: 303-256-1030 unknown
- BigA replies to HarassedIt is not up to the phone companies to decide which calls you receive and which you don't. Just as it is not up to the police to make sure you lock your door or that your house doesn't get broken into. As to the "only thing I can do", well that isn't true. You could block whole area codes and you may also be able to block wildcard numbers. So, what you should have done is read the directions with the phone, because I am pretty sure the newer ones that block that many numbers allow you to do that.
- JayMoDidn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. My answering machine answered with my short "leave a message" and a computerized voice started talking immediately. When the machines "beep" occurred the message stopped and a new computer voice gave us the appointment information. We've been seeing this doctor for eight years and this is the first time they have used this service.

- Caller: did not identify
- C.PMine was Planned Parenthood letting me know about my appt. They must use a discrete number channel to call out , because there are a lot of patients that ask the calls to be confidential. And not to be Told its "planned parenthood" calling.
