Didn't recognize area code so didn't answer.  They left message as a reminder of my Dr. appointment.

Like others say, this is a centralized medical service for automated calls. in my case when I finally answered, it was a satisfaction survey for a 24/7 nursing help call that I had made a week ago when I had a medical issue. So it's legit and fine to answer.

The second I got this call I blocked it from my phone. I bought a Panasonic answering system that has a Call Block button right on the hand set. Just press the button, click Yes, and that's it. Whenever I get a call from a number I blocked, they get a message that they have been blocked. The phone never connects on my side. After a couple of times, they get the message. I suggest everyone make the trip to BJs, Costco, Sam's Club, etc., and spend the $100 to protect your privacy and piece of mind--especially when you are trying to sleep.

TOO MANY FOLKS HERE HAVE HAD TOO MANY BAD EXPERIENCES WITH THIS NUMBER SINCE 2008 - SO, READ BELOW:
THIS CALLER IS AN AUTOMATED SPOOFED CALL AND IS A ROBO or SCAM CALL, DON’T ANSWER THIS NUMBER – LET IT RING.  IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY DISCONNECT AFTER THE 5th RING.  The US Fed. Govt. passed a law in 1920 that FORCES ALL PHONE COMPANIES to connect (put thru) every call placed.  This law is the reason we all get SPAM, SCAM & ROBO calls!  Let’s put the blame where it belongs, with the US Fed. Govt’s. and this STUPID, STUPID, STUPID 1920 law!  This happens because the Feds are profiting $$$ or are too lazy to eliminate this useless law.  Being the do nothing bottom feeding slugs we all know they are, it’s probably the latter.  Finally, the PHONE COMPANIES can stop these unwanted calls and they would like to, BUT, the Federal Government won’t let them because of this 1920’s law!!
TELL YOUR LAZY DO NOTHING LAW MAKING SLUG/S TO ELIMINATE THIS LAW NOW!

There was actually a very good reason for that, but I can see it would be a waste of my time to explain it to you since I don't think you would ever understand the explanation.

Did not answer this number because it was unknown and out of area, way out. Picked up voicemail after, it was a reminder about medical appt from local hospital. Not sure why a Denver number came up when we’re in Southern California.

Caller-ID caller " DENVER CO 1-303-256-1030 " called our So. California landline telephone at 08:22AM on Friday November 23, 2018. I did not recognize the Caller-ID, so I let the call go to the answering machine for a real time call-screening as we always do with unrecognized Caller-ID's. If they're a legit call, we pick up and the answer machine stops. If they're not legit, we let the call run its course and then add them to the call block, and erase the message [if any]. No big deal.

In this case, the phone call was an IMPORTANT LEGITIMATE DOCTOR APPOINTMENT REMINDER COURTESY PHONE CALL BY A 3RD PARTY AUTOMATED SYSTEM for a fully legitimate upcoming local doctor's appointment after this post-Thanksgiving weekend. It had the correct date, time, actual doctor's name, and the correct appointment location address in the reminder. And, I am thankful for having received it because I had absentmindedly later forgotten to write it all down on my appointment calendar when I was given the appointment in the first place. Dōmo arigatō, Ms. Roboto! O.o

Made a PT appointment with my county government employee clinic in NC and these weirdos left an automated VM on my home phone, even though my emergency contact and mass communication number listed for work is my cell.
