Came as a missed call. Responds as a fax.

got the same phone number around 7pm. didn't answer and i called back to see what happens and i also got a busy signal.

Does anyone know how to stop these un-solicted phone calls?

This is an automated service that is hired by companies, mostly doctors’ offices or pharmacies, to call patients to remind them of appointments  and prescriptions. They called me yesterday and left a message confirming an appointment for later this week.

I just got a call from this number and they left a voicemail saying it was Planned Parenthood.  Turns out it was just the automated message saying my lab results were ready and I could go to www.planned.org or call 866-397-1383 to check them.

Call is from my doctor's office reminding me of an upcoming appointment.

They called me from Planned Parenthood. Mine was an automated message.

You all should chill the heck out.  They are a call service just reminding folks of their appts. I have diabetes and have an appt next Monday with my Endocrinologist.. Simple voice message. No big deal. Lighten up...

after reading these post, I do recall a message occasionally from Denver, for me they have been to conform a doctor's appointment

This number was from a company reminding me of doctor's appointment.  It is not in my area code, so I didn't answer it.  But it did leave an automated message.

Automated message to remind me of an appointment with my doctor. The call was on a Saturday at 6:30 pm EST. ..... 4 days ahead of appointment. No big deal.!!!!

got a call from this number. didnt know who it was. then i looked up this site i saw its dr offices appts. then they left message telling me of my sons upcomming appt at dr. so i'm sure they are hired by others to make thier calls and not scams

I got a call from this number.  It was from Georgia Power stating the reason for a power outage yesterday.

Just got a call from this number. It was an automated call and the computer actually left part of a message on my voicemail. It was about taking a survey, not a dr's appt, not a pharmacy, but a SURVEY. What is this, a rent-a-number?!?

No longer will I give my number out to doctors, lawyers or anyone who may use it in the future to harass me but the case here is that someone else used my number or had eliglble handwritlng

They are some sort of automated survey system.  It wanted me to answer 3 survey questions.

i just got a phone call from that number on my cell phone.  so, i did what i've done the other times that i get numbers from out of state -- i google it & came up with this website.  when i called my voice mail - the message was actually from the medical clinic here in MY state -- Washington.
