call, no message left

Once again receiving calls from these "collectors" on my cell phone. They're calling for someone else. A year ago they removed me from their list and now my number is on it again. I suspect they're a predatory collecting group that purchases bad debt information.

I double-checked my credit info to make sure my info wasn't stolen, but all is good on my end. I'm blocking their numbers as clearly they don't actually remove you when they say they do.

Good grief, had number for 5+ years, and STILL getting calls for some deadbeat that owes everyone a fortune.

Such losers! These people that call need new jobs. Tried to tell me they were from the courthouse and my license was going to be suspended and this was for my brother that owed on a credit card.

Scammer called this afternoon and said she had a private matter to discuss with me. I asked the name of her company and what the call was about and she said she couldn't tell me unless I gave her my date of birth.  That is a violation of law and I quickly hung up. I'm sure her next tactic would be to ask for money on a gift card to pay for a fictitious debt.

This lady called said her name was Karen and asked me to confirm my date of birth. She was calling about a matter with the Arapahoe County Courts and District Courts. I told her I would not give her my date of birth if she is calling me for a matter with the judicial system she should know it. She then told me that I owed the courts money and I needed to get it resolved today.

I owe nobody anything. I quickly hung up.

Called for Wendy, she apparently had my number before I got my phone 4 years ago? Left a voice mail to call back, blocked number.

I think the message was left by Vaughn or Sean/Shawn (he didn't speak clearly), just asked me to call him back at 303-317-8522.  Apparently this is a collection agency of some sort, but I don't have any debts to speak of, am on SSI (fixed income), and have no clue as to why they'd be calling me.
