Called saying a lein on my property, said my full name and knew my address. Looked online and checked with my county, there's no lein. Very confusing.

They called and said I have a lien from the state of CA which I’m poor and own nothing. I laughed and said “I’m poor so I don’t see how that’s possible.” He gave up and said oh ok we try to help people with liens but you sound like you think it’s a mistake and hung up

The caller called regarding a tax lien on my company that their company allegedly received, claiming we did not pay taxes. I offered to take a message due to the lack of information from their end (i.e. no name for a last point of contact regarding the matter, and the fact that this is their first time calling my company).

I've been getting phone calls for months from them. I've never answered but they leave voicemails for a James Morton, who I don't know.

Call constantly and leave messages that are barely audibles something about good news on taxes. Likely scam.

Caller ID listed 2020 Tax.  Asked for owners of the small business.  I flat out asked her if she was a telemarketer.  Silence.  I hung up.

Call claiming you have a lien and they will help you with it. Ask for their names and they get upset and say, "I guess you don't want our help!"
