Same situation different number. Legal mediation dept. Very rude people, called the attorney general's office and they had me call the insurance and fraud dept.  The only form of payment they would accept is money gram. SCAM!! So the lady at the attorney general's office ask ed me to report them to my local police station too.

Caller is saying that I receive a payday loan and the company is going to filed charges of two felonies on me if I don't pay  683.50 today. 5134574443

I also just received a call from this group with the number of 216-370-7413.  I will be filing a complaint but am concerned that they have my SS# and, apparently, know my bank account number.  Someone needs to put these people out of business.

I figured once again this was a scam!! After reading these complaints I'm really considering filing a compliant tomorrow or getting an attorney involved

Received a call from 614-467-4124, Mrs. Walker said I was being charged with check fraud from a payday loan from Equity Funding.  They said they were going to file charges and I would go to jail. I am in Texas.

They called me today with this same voicemail. I called back and let them talk and when I asked a couple questions she said see you in court and hung up on me. This time they called me from 225-220-4250. They gave me Investigator Michael Williams, Processor Michelle Wright and Shelley Gray staring they are with a Scott Atwater and Associates. Then when you call back the number rings to a 252-220-4250 trying to collect for Equity Funding
