this is a medical bill collector.

This is not a debt collector it is a hospital billing department.

Called spouse's cell. Left no message.

They keep calling even though I have made payment arrangements. I have asked for the transcripts of the previous conversations in order to verify that I have made the same payment arrangements several times and made 2 payments to initiate the payments plans. It is a waste of everyone's time to make the same payment arrangements over and over.  It is harassment.

Is this the original creditor or a third party debt collector?  I makes a difference.  If it is the original creditor, that verbal payment arrangement should have been followed up with a letter from you stating the facts and telling them that no further communication is necessary from them unless you violate the agreement.  If it is a third party debt collector, then those calls are illegal.

This number just called me 27 times back to back. Quite scary. Reported to BBB.
