This Home Advisor and they scam hundreds of honest contractors by selling the same job with no chance of a sale. They do not stop calling and the state of California is after them.

100% correct, I explored getting their service and it is the biggest scam in the world.  You pay them every time somebody contacts them on the website for the services you do.  I told her there was no way I'd pay that kind of referral fee, if I book work I'd be happy to pay a referral but that isn't how they operate.  They also anonymize your phone number to a toll free number so they control your contact info.  2 years later they won't stop calling me telling me how much work I'm missing out on.  Glad I didn't fall for the hard sales pitch.

They are scam artists. We cancelled our service because they would send us duplicate and triplicate requests and charge our account. They still call us and are shady!
