No message, caller id "Denver, CO" on Verizon, 5:44 pm, Mar 25. Last week I requested a recommendation from HomeAdvisor.com for a project. They called to find out whether I had completed the project, etc.

Home Advisor, calling to follow up on some services that an executive had performed on his home.

I had just contacted Home Advisor to find someone to install two shower heads. Got response from them for handymen in my area.  Immediately got a call from this number, I rejected the call as I did not know the number.  From previous comments posted, I guess these people troll the internet and make themselves nuisances.  I will block the number.  Don't need to hear from them.

How is that person, who posted 12 YEARS AGO, by the way, corerct when they said it's Service Magic yet you say it's Home Advisor? And if you know who called you, why did you look up the number anyway?

Apparently HomeAdvisor sells your phone number to their affiliates.  I used HomeAdvisor last week to locate a local shower remodel contactor near Dallas, TX. (which I found one that day).
Now I'm getting calls a week later from a different company in CO that wants to link me with contractors...?  Irritating.

This number belongs to Home Advisor, they call pretending they are potential customers but they are just scamming you. Beware of Home Advisor (ServiceMagic) scams. What they are doing is ILLEGAL and considered HARASSMENT! They call daily pretending to be looking for a contractor but I assure you they are not a potential customer they just want your information to sell to 3rd party companies.

They called me. It's home advisor. They were calling to follow up about my inquiry to see how everything went with requesting quotes for yard work.

I too sent a request for contractors last week on Home Advisor, and now received a call from here. I'm like other people, if I don't recognize the number calling I won't answer.

I placed this number into my automatically block list on my phone.  I'm beginning to think those contractor search site are a waste of time for my area.  I did a search on two places after a fire, and had a total of only 3 contractors come look at the job. And the one we hired was the worst contractor we ever had. Didn't do anything correctly. Sealed the drywall with a spray that other paint won't hardly stick too, it just peels off. Then they installed non insulated air ducts, and caused a condensation problem which caused mold to grow.

I guess all this should be on the sites I hired them from, so I appoligize for the long comment.
