Received call from that number.  Did not answer, no message left.

These callers are criminals. When you see a number with a city name they are how Google Voice assigns an id when someone requests a new Google Voice number for free. The phone number selection list has the city listed by the zipcode you enter. You can select any number from any state no matter what state you live in. Criminals unfortunately take advantage of the Google Voice numbers. I have one of there numbers to block numbers from there callers. It can be traced back to the pc location when they obtain the number but requires a subpena.

they constantly call sometimes they don't say anything but other times it is a recorded message about a bunch of crap with mortgages and I just want them to stop calling me I don't even own a house thank you

Call received 06/17/15 at 4:48 PM.  Unknown Caller.  Left no message.  The best rule of thumb is always ignore a call you can't identify.   For the ultimate in blissful living, supplement this personal policy with a call blocker. There are numerous good ones out there.

To all of the people who said they were on the DNC list and still got calls or they were reporting the call to the DNC. Stop wasting your time. The DNC is the biggest scam and waste of tax payer money. Do yourself a favor and get a call blocker. Most offer a 1 or 2 button push to block callers. Many will let you get some sleep and/or be disturbed, by never letting you even hear the phone ring. You can block whole area codes and those numbers with an anonymous or no caller ID. There are phones which have the ability to block hundreds of these calls and also stand alone units which can block thousands of numbers. It will be the best investment you will ever make..

Calling saying they are from the IRS and want to help  work out a plan to pay back taxes. When a real person comes online you are propositioned for large amounts of money for sex and explicitly told what will happen when their articles of clothing are removed. These calls come in from Marathon Florida.

the scammers offer the type of loan and know your credit card number and withdraw money from the account !
