Just got a call from this number at 3:40 PM (Oct 8) on my cell phone (I'm a Straight Talk customer).  I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.  

This is from Comcast.  I have Comcast internet and cable service. Whenever they've called, I  either couldn't get to the phone in time or didn't hear my phone ringing. They never leave me a voicemail message, so I don't know what it is that they want. My bills are always paid, so it isn't anything regarding collections. I don't know if it's about a deal they're running or what.

I doubt this is legit.  My guess is that shadyy comcast sold their records to these people.  They are just guessing that you have cable and internet.  I'm thinking scam.  

One other thing - for those that let it ring. Be careful if you use your full name or other identifier in your voicemail message as that is information that a scammer could use to identify you. Keep it generic, and classy internet.

Just got a call, said she's calling "on behalf of Comcast" I said "about what?" she said "a Promotional offer from comcast." I said "No thanks"

Received multiple calls but have not answered. If they are claiming they are Comcast, it is a scam. I work for them so there is no reason to call me. Please beware.

I have been receiving calls from this number a few times a week.  I do not answer and no message is left.  It is very annoying.

I have been getting calls for weeks now so yesterday I finally answered it. Heard the woman talk about how they offer deals with Xfinity Triple play yada yada yada. I said no thanks. I am all set.

A little less than 24 hours later, I get a 2nd call. Different woman telling me about the same deal. They end the convo with if you have any questions to call Xfinity.

Not sure if it is a scam or not but if I want better deals, I will call Xfinity direct.

No message left, but I've received 5 calls from this number over the past week.

Comcast could very well be call about sales OR past due notice.  In any event, this number is calling once a day without leaving any voicemail message.

3 call over the last 2 weeks, only the last of which I answered - after a few seconds of silence, one beep and the connection broke. No caller ID, just the number. If these people are scammers they certainly aren't very good at it.

Time for the Fed's to move in...

They called a few weeks ago for the first time. I talked to a lady who said she was from Comcast and asked what I liked to watch on TV. I said I don't have time to watch too much TV because I work a lot and she hung up. The calls stopped for a bit and then they began calling every day at least once a day. So they are now blocked. I only answered initially because I have family that live and visit Florida a lot.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

6 AM - The day after daylight savings time started so my body says it's 5 AM! I'm NOT a comcast customer. LEAVE ME ALONE! You woke me up & worried me due to the time of day you called. There was nobody there. Answered on the second ring.
