This number was handled by our 'puter a short time ago. WE didn't even have to get up to answer it. We have blocked the entire (305) 368-8xxx run of numbers. Every time one of those numbers calls in, the 'puter answers it and immediately hangs up on them. Don't ya just love technology that can be used against these scamming scumbags? I sure do. Our PhoneTray Free program is working like a charm. One ring and done!
NO, I do NOT work for TraySoft who created this program. They have stopped distributing the free version (v 1.39) that we're using, and they're now Selling their "new" PRO version. I'm pretty sure the free version 1.39 can still be found out there on the internet somewhere though. We now have a list (our $hit Li$t) of over 370 numbers, some in whole blocks, that are being handled by our 'puter, and the list keeps growing.
This site has made it possible for us to keep up on these number changes and additions so quickly that we can add whole blocks of BAD numbers in a relatively short time. Thank you to all the people who take the time to support this site with your input.- Caller: Probably "Card Services"
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Bub17I don't know anyone in Florida and don't answers callers I don't know.
- Rich replies to Moonshine Maker| 1 replyWARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers. Under NO circumstances give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever.
- Texas Gal replies to RichThanks for the warning. They just called my number, caller ID just said Florida. Didn't answer and they did not leave a message. If they call again they will go on my blocked list.
- John replies to Moonshine MakerThe card service scammers WILL "service" our credit cards, BUT, when they finish "servicing" them, they will have NO available credit remaining. People that are fooled into having their cards "serviced" will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can.
- mary| 1 replyMust be busy bees today.........I NEVER answer the phone when caller ID doesnt show a name I am familiar with. More people need to ignore, then maybe they would go away. Dont even answer. Dont give them the satisfaction of even saying helloo.
Not worth my time to pick up the receiver. I work in a financial office and I probably get 5 calls a day I can tell are scammers. If it is a client and I dont answer, then I figure they will leave a message. Otherwise, if I dont recognize, I dont answer.
This number reads "FLORIDA"..........- Caller: "FLORIDA"
- JoSame as the others. Listed on callerid as FLORIDA. I don't answer.
- RETIRED POLICEAt 12:23 pm on Friday, August 29, 2014 my home landline telephone rang. After I said "hello" a female recording came on stating they would lower my loan interest rates to prevent further action. What a joke these idiots really are! All I have to do is give them my credit card number etc. Actually, I have no debts; credit card debt or any other debts!! This illegal operation scam call originated from Florida as per my caller ID. The scam number showed up as 1-305-368-8378. This same scam operation has tried (numerous times) previously to initiate this same old worn out illegal scam fraud. It didn't work before and it won't work now. You people are actually dumber than an ape with a lobotomy. Maybe you should consider having one of the same and put behind bars, either caged in a prison or a zoo would be more than appropriate..
