Robocaller "This is Lisa calling about your credit card" Reported # to Nomorobo

Wants to lower my interest rate...etc etc.   Would not state the company they represented other than Visa/Mastercard.  Falsely claimed that i was paying over 8% on my Visa.  The # they called to reach me is on DNC list so reporting...

This number has repeatedly called and left no phone #.....I thought these calls were now illegal???  How can we stop this once and for all???

This is the number my VOIP system recorded today, but it came in on my caller id with a spoofed number that began with a "V" followed by 19 digits.   I guess you can fool the caller id on a telephone very easily.  Anyhow, unless these people are up to no good, they would not bother to spoof their number.  Since it is likely that they use multiple numbers, we consumers are left to our own ingenuity.  We don't have to answer.  We can purchase a system or device that will block numbers from calling. If the scammers use a different number, we can block that one, too.  We can use a website like this one to keep each other enlightened.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   after they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining on them!
