I have been getting calls from this number saying I will be issued legal documents for fraud on cash advances that were 7 years ago they said were attached to my name . which is completely false. I told the guy he was delusional and have it. he stated cussing and yelling trying to scare me. how r these people getting by wit this and what can we do.

They called my job and like the other complaint said the same thing. How is this legal?

This is (one of many) criminal extortion scams that have been going on for years. Many are operating overseas and out of the reach of US law enforcement, while others are operating within the confines of prison cells here in the US, using contraband cell phones. Others are using VOIP. Either way, they are able to disguise their identities and locations, making them next to impossible to prosecute. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting victims' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I got a call from this number and did not answer.  I let it go to my voice mail.  They claimed they had some kind of  legal documents and it had gone to their client, yea, right. They gave me a fake case number, They even told me they would  pursue me on my job.  I am retired, so good luck with that.  They will not stop calling me,  They will wait a few weeks and then call me again from a different number. I texted them and told them that they were scammers and I was reporting them,  and to stop calling me, that I was on a do not call list; and if they called me again I was going to sue them.  The company is calling out of Miami.  They also said in the voice mail, if they didn't get money, it would go to the next level. I am so sick of these scammers calling.  Just beware, and do not give them any of your personal information, and do not send them any money.  They are scammers and are trying to extort money out of you

Received a call from this number a man by the name of Shawn,  oh he sounds so official, until you hear people in the back ground.  The phones they use are usually disposable, and can not be traced.  What is so funny the person they are trying to reach name is not on the phone account but yet they keep calling, this person is in a nursing home, she has no clue who she is or anyone else for that matter.  They say they are going to contact her employer, good luck with that one.  The also call the home phone, we have filed a scam report with the local sheriff office and our local police department we have played the voice mails for them.  I also spoke with the clerk of the court who happens to be a friend of mine.

Just got a call from this ignorant person who would not say what his name is, just said "I am calling." I cursed his nasty no-good scheming butt out, hung up then called back to see if I might hear the so-called name of a company. No one answered and I patiently allowed the phone ring more than 10 times. A legitimate company will either answer the call or it will go to a "phone tree" that will try to see if it can direct the call to someone in the company. I am so SICK and tired of all these calls all day long every day. So far none of these crooks have begun calling on Sundays. I guess they all go to the beach on Sundays. I have no idea at all what this company's business is. But their number is going to be placed on my block calls list. It's too bad that the bogus agency that called itself the Do Not Call registry is also bogus. I've been on the Do Not Call registry for more than TWENTY YEARS, re-registering every year, but it, too, is a sorry, no-good agency.
