(305) 479-4223 was given about a craigslist ad..ad was flagged and removed, assume its a scam!!

7/7/26 offer on Craigslist for a free synthesize, and an electric bass earlier in the day. The response to my inquiry was:

“The instruments are still available because I left them with the mover. I would suggest that you text the mover and inform them that Williams Walker recommended you. (305479422three)”

I’ve seen this before, though I forget what was offered. No way will I involve myself with this further. It’s with the number that they gave that I found this posting.

9/4/2026 Craigslist ad for drum set and electric piano. Told to text this number for the mover. Number texted back with very odd long texts about delivery fee to reroute the items. After I got direct about where to pick them up instead of delivery, didn't get an answer back. Flagged on craigslist as a scam.

Yesterday, I replied to a Craigslist ad for a free mixing board that was supposedly being given away. The response directed me to text this number, to contact "the mover" who was supposedly in possession of the board. That post was soon flagged and removed along with several other similar posts made by the same person over the next several hours for various musical instruments and equipment. It's doubtful that it's anything other than a scam.

My experience identical to the other posts above. Free bike.. emailed my interest in picking it up, I was given this phone number to text to arrange a pickup with the mover. The mover replied to my text message telling me I can meet him for pickup or he will charge me a $475 delivery fee. Bummer. Glad I checked here before things went any further.

Same as SH. Scammer.
