Called to tell me a company was taking me to court for not paying for something shipped,  I know nothing about what they called about.

Same thing happened to me yesterday

they called me saying that i need to go to court, for something that i order online and that i apparantley didnt pay for...it dont make any sense to me, but i stayed on the line. they said that my information was given to the FBI and the immigration department, so i told the girl okay if the FBI and immigration come to my house i will take care of it then, they also ask for your credit card information, so DONT give it out. i ignored all the calls, until the FBI or immigration department comes knocking on my door thats when i'll believe it...for right now im ignoring all calls.

Lady left the message regarding my mom owing a payment and is now under "supreme court."
What a load of crap!
This is identity theft. If they do mail you a "bill" take it to the police department for investigation.
Don't give any info!

I got the same call this morning, and I was tolled to I had to go to court but they were giving me the option to pay them $399.00, I was worried at first but now that I see all these comments I know its a fraud.

FBI and ICE are not in the business of debt collection. You heard a preposterous and cheap scare tactic.

Whether you are called a debtor or some collector thinks you can flush one out, you have rights and options. Many are simple to exercise if you only learn how. You are granted control of how you are contacted, the right to dispute debt claims, and the means to sue violators at low cost. The FTC and the CFPB can start you on your homework. I am getting calls from this number stating that I did not go to court and they will send me to jail for not paying 4000.00 I never order nor received anything from this guys.  They are trully harazzsing me.  they need to stop tying up my line like this.

It's a scam, so you can safely ignore them.  Or answer the next time they call and tell them that you know they are scammers and you've reported them to the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  Unfortunately, they most likely will keep calling you, so you'll just have to block their number or do your best to ignore the calls.

Same thing happened to my mother. They have been calling and harrassing my mother for the past 4 to 6 months.

They are doing the same thing to my mom and she gets very upset. How can we stop this?

A  mi  tambien  me  llamaron, supuestamente la  abogada  Fulana  de tal, que tengo  una  demanda de "X"  empresa, y si pago inmediatamente $400.00 dolares  la  empresa retira  la  demanda, he  recibido llamadas  con esa  misma  historia de los numeros 305-330-6497 y 407-173.

Wow, this "company" (I know it's just some random person harassing people) is ridiculous! I mean seriously straight up harassing people and threatening them with court and jail time. They keep calling my dad saying that he owes $20,000 whatever! This is a joke! Do not believe them, this is not true! Do not give them any information!! They will just use it against you. Ignore all calls!

Me ha pasado lo mismo.  La primera vez si pagaba $399.00 retiran la demanda. Al otro  dia lo mismo pero me dijo que enviara $395.00. Hoy 27 de junio.  Me amenazaron con ir preso. Debemos hacer algo para evitar

Acabo de recibir una llamada que me van a llevar a la corte si no pago $395. Llame a el Dept de policia aqui en Miami y me dijo que es un "SCAM" que ya estan investigando sobre esta llamadas y que las ignore. Me estan amenazando con ir presa. La persona dice llamarse Lcda. Maria Toledo de la Corte Suprema No. 11 de Talahasse, Fl.

My mom received a call from a Lcd. maria Toledo saying she owed $2,500.00 and that if she didnt pay it they were going to send the police and immigration after her. They keep calling and harrasing her. I told her to ignore the calls and not to give out any personal information.

They call my house and left a Voicemail on a Saturday stating that a lawsuit is being filed and must appear at the Supreme Court in NY to pay a fine of $970.  I called them number and this lady Carla who claimed that she worked at the Supreme Court in Tallahassee Flroida stated that she can bring the fine down to $399 but I only had one hour to obtain a Money Order and to make sure not to write a name or address on the Money Order except the name of the company.  I then had to mail the MO to a PO Box via certified mail.  Once I had the MO and Certified Receipt. I had to call her back and give her the MO Number and Certified Letter Tracking number and within 72 hours she would send me a letter clearing me of my lawsuit.  
This is all a scam.  When you do a reverse number lookup of the tel # 305-539-1278 it shows that it's a Cell Phone Number in Key West Florida.  
When I hung up with her, I called the Supreme Court in Tallahasse Florida and explained the issue and said that they have been receiving a lot of complaints about these scammers.  They took my info and said that Marshall will call me back and that these people are already under investigation.

I had this  woman Majorga, saying that i been sued by I dont know what company for $2970.00; this woman claim to work for the supreme court #11 from florida in the conciliation department and that since I didnt answer thier phone calls, they were moving foward with the sue.

Did it come to be true?
