A lady called in saying she was from Verifax (?) and wanted to do an employment verification through HR. I told her we did this through The Work Number and gave her our employer code. She called back right after I hung up with her and wanted to verify employment, so I told her the same thing (done through The Work Number). She said "Oh you do it through The Work Number now?" Um YES! I just told you this 2 minutes ago on the first call!!! What the heck? Did she think she could go around me and talk to someone else??? So strange...

A man called and left a message saying he was from Verifax(?) and conducting an employment verification for US Bank.  He indicated that if I could not do that, to send him the fax number for our HR  department.  He requested I call back to 941-783-2170; however, the number he was calling from was 305-728-0237 as verified by the caller ID.  His first name was Dale, but I could not understand his second name.  He also indicated I was to specify that my call was in reference to Order #359154.

Just called for one of our guys who is working a job out of town.  Told them that, and they said they would email him to get a better contact number.  They never said who they were.

He said he was from lending club didn't have time to talk to him thank God

This is a company that does employment verification. Verifax.  Seems legit not spam

They have been harassing me to do a employment verification for myself.  My mortgage was approved and we already closed on the property - definitely a scam

Be Careful - This could be a scammer using a spoofed number and name. Possible Phishing Scam.
Safest to ask what is needed and call back on a number you verify and dial yourself.
