- SS| 2 repliesThe person calling from this number stated that he was a patient advocate. He said I had applied for assistance with my medication in the past, and he was calling to see if I had gotten the help I needed. I explained that I had never applied for any such assistance. He said it probably occurred through a doctor's office. He said he was not trying to sell me anything but was merely a patient advocate.
- Stephanie replies to SS| 1 replyI just now got off the phone with them. The guy I spoke with also said he was a patient advocate with a company called The RX Helper. He could not tell me where he got my information, only that it was either a doctors office or a loved one who contacted them out of concern for me. Unfortunately, I gave them some personal (only name address and employment) information before In stopped myself and started asking him questions (I know better than to give out any info; dummy me). He was very willing to give me all the information I requested and encouraged me to check them out. The program sounds great. His claim is that he can get my medication costs down to about $10 a month instead of the $300 plus that I currently pay. There is a fee of $39.95 a month for their services. I am going to check them out. Here is the information about the company that he provided to me:
Name: The Rx Helper Company Location: Boca Raton, FL Website: www.therxhelper.com
Hope this helps. - Bill replies to StephanieI would avoid them. I just got a junk recorded phone call on their behalf, in violation of Do Not Call. (I cannot prove it came from them but, when I asked if the caller had a Web site, he gave me theirs.)
- Marty Marie Flirt| 3 repliesI do not owe anyone any money or have any debt. Why do they hang up?
- John EmmitI spoke to them a few weeks ago. I took a chance, they helped us get prescription assistance. We pay them a small service fee, but really happy to pay it since we were paying 425 a month on all our medicine. Its a really good service and have since referred several family members over and they are in the process helping them.
- Ralph YatesI've received several calls but all were "missed". I pay by the minute, so if I answer the call, it costs me money. What right does anyone have to put me in a situation where I have to pay in order to tell them to leave me alone? Where's the FCC? And anyone who responds to a call like this, or to spam, is simply encouraging more of it. Even if it looks interesting, we shouldn't respond
- Rosemary TI filled some information out on there website, got a call from them in a few minutes later, which surprised me. They help with prescriptions. I don't take my medications because I cannot afford them. I researched them, and did enroll yesterday. Based on what their fee is compared to the alternative, I'm happy. We will see over the next month how it goes.
- M. GAUGHAN| 1 replyI received a call almost identical with Stephanie's. The phone number belongs to THE RX HELPER. It was a man who called saying that he was a patient advocate. He said that I had requested assistance with my prescription medication. I had but not from them. The man led me to believe that I was speaking with my prior foundation assistance representative. He said that there was a $50.00 application fee and $69.95 per month but that I would pay nothing beyond that charge for my medication. I asked why the foundation's policy concerning charges had changed, and I received a contrived speech on why the change.
Unfortunately for me, I believed that he was from the foundation and that funds had become available which is what he had told me.
After the call and before completing an application, I contacted the foundations that I personally had researched for assistance in the past and both foundations' funding was still closed for my disease. I researched available foundations when my disease was diagnosed and there are only a few available. So, I called back to find out from whom they were getting the potential assistance for me. I informed THEM that there was no assistance available for a medicare patient with some secondary insurance.
I have made repeated calls to RXHELPER and after 69.95x3 plus an application fee, they have finally stopped charging my credit card. Yes, I did contact the credit card company. They say that they cannot remove any charges before cancellation date----but I couldn't get a cancellation.
I intend to go to AARP with what appears to be a scam and to FACEBOOK where they are listed and to the ATTORNEY GENERAL in the state of Florida.
I cringe to think of how many people they have duped and monies lost.
****PLEASE NOTE THAT NO SERVICES WERE AFFORDED ME BY THE RX HELPER- Caller: THE RX HELPER

- Henry Williams| 1 replyI contacted Rx Solutions and I cannot believe how easy it was to enroll and get approved for my medications. They’re customer service took care of all the “heavy lifting” for me. They explained the process of what was going to happen step by step. Plus they were with me the whole way if I had any more questions. I recommend calling them as well. The advocacy group is called Rx Solutions and their phone number is 888-823-0042.
- Jen G.Call Rx Solutions at 888-823-0042. They are an advocacy group designed to help with obtaining medications through the various pharmaceutical companies. They have an amazing success rate when it comes to helping people obtain their expensive medications. Call now for a free consultation.
- CWG40 replies to Henry WilliamsStill looks like a scam to me. A patient advocate would be a volunteer. He or she would not be shilling for a private company. Something wrong here.
