They called me today as well.. left a message about how I was being charged for tax fraud and evasion and it was urgent to call them back.

Scam i aint even calling them back. They keep calling and revenue canada will send out papers they will not call at all this is the 2nd time i got a call from scammers and this number keeps calling and its an auto voice not even a damn person !!!

305-921-4581.This number called me claiming to be Canada revenue agency saying that I'm being charged with tax fraud. Apparently this is a Florida phone number. What a scam!

They are obviously calling in the Victoria area too, now.  Got part message, urging a call back as soon as possible to avoid arrest.

Yup - me too!  Two days in a row.  CRA does not contact by phone.  If in fact there is a tax issue with them, contact will be by mail.  Don't fall for this crap!

Total scam

Got the call - tax deficiency / fraud. It's urgent !  Total scam. I keep calling back from a work phone to harass them and now they just hangup on me. Tell them it's the FBI calling and they are under investigation...  LOL

Well they are back at it again. Tax Fraud and evasion scam. Saying they are from Revenue Canada. Had to laugh, as they call us, and both myself and spouse are retired employees from Canada Revenue Agency. AND to let people know Canada Revenue Agency doesn't call regarding tax fraud. For those who have not filed tax returns, you would be notified 3 times by mail and then eventually by telephone, but full identification by the Canada Revenue Agency would be made, and what office they are calling from and phone number where the Agent can be reach and what times. Also this number is calling from Miami. Why would the US be calling people here in Canada for tax evasion. Like Duh!

Second day in a row I got the same recorded message claiming "Revenue Canada" (which was renamed years ago) has filed criminal charges against me, but it was a different phone number yesterday. It was also in Florida like this one.

i keep receiving fraudulent threatening phone calls and voicemails from this number.  They need to be stopped immediately.

Have called the past 3 days and left the extract message. Hope it stops!!

Received a call from them this morning something about tax fraud

Clue #1: it hasn't been called Revenue Canada for several years.

Today's was the second call in three days from these crooks. They used a different number yesterday, but it was the same recorded message.

I hate pre-recorded spam calls because I love to mess with live callers. I got one from the "Windows Technical Centre" crooks last week and I told him I was so glad he called. He was very surprised by that and asked why and I told him I'm an investigator with the legal department of Microsoft Canada and that while we were talking, his call had been traced and the police there were being notified. He started stammering and stuttering and sounded very scared, so I suggested he make a run for it while he still could and then he hung up.

They claim to be Revenue Canada and leave messages saying there is a tax fraud case against me and to call this number. More than one person lives at this address. If it was a government agency leaving a message (I think they only use post) they would not say why they were calling and would leave a message for a specific person. Many reason to be suspicious.

Second call in two days trying to scam ppl to call back claiming a fraud case has been made against me , badly recorded... I'm in the London area so they seem to be covering a wide area

another scammer pretending to be the Canada Revenue Agency. The least you can do is use a number in Canada, not Florida USA

Same tax fraud. Reported it to the RCMP Fraud division.

Received a call today saying I was being charged criminally. Relieved to see it's a scam. Very upsetting

Just received a call regarding my "criminal case concerning tax deficiency and tax fraud".   Of course this is a scam. In fact I've already received my tax refund!  Don't be fooled or pressured by these criminals!!

Meant to say I'm in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
