I always thought they used a computer to dial the number for them. Which is against Sask-Tel's guidelines. But they do it anyways.

My best option would be to call Sask-Tel security.

They called, and I told the woman that I had already asked them not to phone me.
I have not received any calls from them since then.

I would not be surprised if Dominion Pro Vac's building was bombed by somebody who couldn't take their calls anymore.

Phone rang 3 times before I lifted the receiver.  Before I had a chance to say hello, I could hear a ring on the line.  It rang several times before I hung up.

This number called me too. Called it back to see who it was and just got an answering machine. They left a message on my answering machine but I couldn't hear them. It was muffled. Said D P V I on the call display. Can't find it in any phone book...

Picked it up and it was ringing. I hung up.

get phone calls from this number and my number is unlisted for a reason.

then if you no longer want to get calls from them you need to put your number on the do not call list even though you have probably asked the callers that have call you to put you on that list already.

of course you would not want business from a company that has employees saying things like that. i have worked for the company in the past and i am sure that our company is very good at what they do but i am even more sure that your company is good as well. there is no reason for a sales person to be talking to you like that and i am sure that the matter was delt with and if not i will make sure that it does.

yes i understand that these calls may get irritating and as far as hanging up on you that i am sure is quite a few years ago now and the number that used to show up on your screen has been change. that is probably why you could not find the listing when you went to look for it.

yes infact there is. it is called a do not call list. and that is what you should put your number on if you do not want to be called.

YES IT IS AN AUTOMATIC DIALER. It will dial the numbers for you and then once you pick up the phone it rings until it hits one of thier operators on the other end. i used to work there i know how it works because i did majority of the calling and i ran their computers.

They call every other day it seems....I'm in Alberta - shouldn't they stick to bothering people in Saskatchewan?

We have recieved 5 calls from this number: 306-359-7974.  We have no idea who it is and when we do answer, they hang up.  Our number is unlisted, and it is frustrating to still get marketing calls.  What can we do though?  I guess I will report this caller to the SASK-Tel Security, But we are residents of Alberta and I don't know what stipulations are involved in the regulations.
