I've had dozens of calls from this number; I'm in
BC. It's always the same drunken-sounding woman who
answers, I must be on her list. I've asked to be
removed, but the calls still keep coming, it's been
about a year now. I've had ten calls just this past
week alone...I guess they have to do something in
that call center. Can't someone go and pull the plug
on them? It's incredibly annoying, as this is a work-
only cell, and only gets about a call per day, business
related. I guess I'll never shop at Staples again;
they must have taken down my number when I picked up
supplies and put this drunken harpy onto me.

Staples central business office is in Saskatchewan. If you were trying to set up a business account, this is where they would be calling from.

(Also possible that someone trying to set up a fake account via the Internet made up a phone number, and it happened to be yours. Staples verifies.)

Got a call from this number, no caller id, didn't know the number so I didn't pick up, no message was left.Never given anyone from staples my cell number... wonder how they got it, and why they want to talk to me...

Just got a call from this number at 10:30 EDT, didn't pick up though.

Call from 1-306-584-6705 came in while I was busy. No message but I called back and got "Staples Telemarketing Line".
If you've done business with Staples Office Depot and given you name, address, postal code or phone number I suppose they think that it's alright to phone and bug you as an existing customer. Go to local Staples and register a complaint with the manager.If you're told there is nothing they can do then inform them that you can do something...Stop shopping at Staples and tell your friends, family and associates to do the same. Remember in retail sales BOYCOTT WORKS.

I get these calls all the damn time!!! I *FINALLY* got things taken care of. I got a rep named Brenda, and I had to tear into her before she got my name removed from the list. She also sent me a free box of paper for the inconvienence! Call her and demand that Staples doesn't call you anymore (and get free paper)!!! Her toll free number is 866-319-8181 ext 6702. We need to work together to stop these telemarketers!

When I called back I was charged $$ on my cell phone for calling Saskatchewan Canada......

All the calls I get from this Staples number lead to savings, so I always answer. I have only been hung up on twice from this number, but it was after several rings. If someone is giving me coupons I'm all over it.

I've gotten three calls from "Staples Telesales." They don't leave messages, but I called back and got a message that the Staples Telesales representative didn't have enough room in the inbox.

I sent an e-mail to Staples Business Advantage stating that I wanted to open an account.  I believe I mentioned specifically that I wanted to be contacted via e-mail.  They called me anyway.  I hope it's not a phone tag situation.

Rec'd junk marketing ph call 306-584-6705. - [3:16 pm] - did not answer. The dopes never left a msg. Call traces back to Saskatchewan, Canada. Now what on earth would we want to have anything to do with the socialist dopes up in Canada?

We never answer dirtbags that are long distance. If it were truly important, and valid, they'd clearly identify who they are, what they want, and what their true intentions honestly are.

Yeah, right. That's like the black dope Obama telling us the truth. Yet another liar that says one thing, and virtually always what he says and means are two different things.

Given that Canada is predominantly pro-Socialist in nature, no surprise here. Next, if Staples as others claim is truly stationed in Canada why would we want to do business with pro-Socialists? Wake up people.

Yup, just Staples doing follow up calls to make sure you're a happy camper.  They're in Canada ... we're in Pennsylvania.  I guess cheaper to farm out customer service to Canada.

August 24, 2009:  Received another unsolicited call to my 416 Area Code Ontario based cell phone from Staples telemarketing call centre in Saskatchewan. I phoned Staples toll-free number 1-866-319-8181 X6702 and left a firm voice mail message for Brenda Moodrey (sp?) requesting♠ that my cell phone number be immediately removed from their telemarketing call log while noting that if it is not, I will never buy anything at Staples again!

Got a call from this number saying Saskatchewan... I don't know anyone there so I didn't answer or call back!  I'm glad I didn't
