This number was used to call and leave a message to call 866-607-3223. Student loan scam

same here. except I was "told" to call 866-419-7997.
I've heard variations of this message many times before. The message left is something like: "Yes, uh this is Carol Duncan...I'm calling in reference to your Federal Student Loan. Um, I need to discuss your repayment options with some new changes that have taken effect...give me a call ... 866-419-7997...reference numbe..."

I'm guessing they want to steal your SS number.
