Who is this

Scammer! They pretend like they want to buy an item from you (on kijiji for example) and then say they've sent you the money and to look out for an email. Then, they send you an email from Interac that asks you for information such as tracking number, personal phone number and personal home address. Notice how their email is a gmail address. These fools think they're smart. "Alex Brown" or "Andy Walton" are the aliases.

Also, they are using the following address to received goods that they will never pay you for, and have you pay for the shipping on top of it (If you fall for their scam). 3737 Wascana Pkwy, Regina SK, Canada S4S 0A2. These scammers are using a Wyoming cell phone number (from the USA) and scamming people into sending them goods they never intend on paying for.

Kijiji purchase. Wants you to take down ad, send e transfer info, then ship to another province. This time it is Saskatchewan. They are stealers. Always google phone numbers before replying.

Similar case for me also. Wanted to by an item from Kijiji, very earger to proceed with e-transfer. Did not supply my email, ended the text discussion! Thanks for post, very helpfull.

Similar to other posts above, they said they wanted to buy my item from Kijiji (wedding dress) and send it as a gift. That already rang some alarms. Then they asked for photos and I told them they were already on the listing. Glad I thought of checking and feel awful for anyone who gets scammed by them!

Same info as above. Beware. They said they'd pay me, however, the "e transfer email" said it is pending and the funds will only release once you give a tracking number. Clearly it's already too late once the item is shipped. This just happened today.

Exact same!  I thought it sounded too easy. Very specific in their request, wanted it for a gift, sending to Wascana Pkwy, to take down the ad, let them know before I send it, they'll add $80 to the price for shipping. The only thing I did do was end up giving them my email address for etransfer but hopefully nothing can be done with that. Glad I searched their number. Thank you all for your comments too! I have received a SMS from Andy Waltson regarding my kijiki ad and ask me to post the package to 3737 Wascan pkway, Regina, SK. for shipping he agree to give $80.00 too. He send me the e-transfer link about my payment and it say until give the tracking number to them money will not deposit. I went to Canada post and send the package and try to submit my tracking number. luckily my i phone say it is scam link, then immediately I have went back to post office and stopped the parcel and refund the shipping cost.

Got a text from this number regarding a dress I had. Mentioned they are getting a friend a birthday gift and will be including an extra $80 to cover the shipping cost and will pay first and also asked for pictures

Messaged me saying and I quote “ I'm purchasing this to a friend as a birthday gift Schooling in Wascana Pkwy, I will be including an extra $80 to cover the shipping cost and will pay first, Can i get a picture of it ?” and then proceeded to tell me the address is 3737 Wascana Pky, Regina SK S4S 0A2, Canada. I had suspicions because the number wasn’t local and looked up the location just to find this thread and realize I was trying to be scammed.

I just got a text from this # reguarding an item I have on Kijiji...
They didnt haggle price offered extra for shipping to address above, apparently it's a present for a friend...wanted my E transfer info so they could pay me from a Scotia account...
The messages were kinda pushy and seemed like English is not first language..
It's a Wyoming # as stated...
I sent them a screen shot of info I found...told them they're busted...
Definitely a scam....

They texted me about a Kijiji ad I posted, and asked me to ship it over halfway across the country. Glad I checked here first, it's a Wyoming number and They wanted me to ship it to Alberta. Knew it sounded fishy!

I guess I am too old to remember Geography?  Because I always thought that Wyoming was in the US and that Alberta was in Canada?  So you would actually be shipping it into another country and not

Yes this is definitely a scam but unfortunately we didn't discover it until it was too late.  Went to the post office to retrieve the package and we couldn't get it back.  It was sent to the University of Regina at same address mentioned above.   Called them this morning and as soon as I told them a package was being sent there to Andy Walton they told me right away that they have those tagged and automatically return the package to sender.  I was so relieved to hear that and so was my Grandson who was the one selling the item.
