Yep got a text this morning saying " hi there" this is just crazy!!!!!!!

Shes back at it again, just received a message today saying she was lonely and was looking for friends she dont have many friends, I replied im sorry who is this, she replied so so so sorry then this is angela are you mad, I didnt bother replying after that

Got a text today similar to all the other complaints.  Simply said "hi."  I didn't respond as I did not want to encourage further texting messages.  This person should loose the privilege of texting!

I responded, "Hey. I just got a new phone and lost a good amount of my numbers. Who is this?"
"a girl looking for a nice single guy"
"That's nice. Good luck!"
Then I sent her another text saying "Who is this?" again but it hasn't responded.

Text me couple days ago. Same story.

Same as the others... I just got a text that says "Hi" I'm ignoring it

At it again.  Husband and my phones just got the same text.  Our numbers are just a few digits apart, and the texts came at just 1 minute apart.  She's just going through all the numbers it seems like!

My son received text saying "hi" today.  Deleted it and didn't respond. Wondering if there are grounds to involve the police.

Literally just got one, searched the number and found this, calling police

Same here. Looks like she was stopped for a couple years. She's back at it

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

This is just sad. I wonder if she has a caseworker that could get involved. This isn't safe for her to be doing this.

This morning I received a message from this number. After reading the comments I didn't respond to the text. All it read was "hi"
