scammer ,  wanted to buy motorcycle but i had to pay 1500.00 by western union for the the pick up , then the money would be deposited into paypal , he would add the 1500.00 to price of bike... stay away ...

had the same thing happen last night.. total scam. 8/20/13

he has been trying to contact me on wanting to buy my motorcycle, i responded to them to tell them to call me to arrange something for payment and possible pick up. but they have insisted on using paypal and i told them you cant call then no deal.

Texted me to purchase a vehicle, then said he would deposit an extra 1450 to pay the "pick up company". I answered for him to go ahead and I'll watch for the PayPal funds. His response was some wacky story about being at sea and not having his credit card. LOL just trying to type this. Messaged back that he makes both payments or fuhgeddaboudit

Ha! Same guy just texted me. Wanted my "verified PayPal account information." Didn't pass the smell test. Didn't negotiate price, said he wanted the motorcycle for his cousin/nephew, said he would send his mover, blah blah. Had the gall to ask whether he would be disappointed! My bike is almost new, very low miles, never dropped and it goes for $15k. Not one question about whether the price is firm? That alone is suspicious. We haven't gotten to the overpayment part. I can't imagine that anyone would fall for so transparent a scam. I would like to report the guy/gal.

So sad to know that there are losers that try to scam people. I had this loser try to buy my motorcycle from me and tryed to have me pay him a fee. Sellers never pay buyers do. What a loser

Messaged me re a motorcycle I have on Craigslist.  Knew it was a scammer and all these comments confirmed it.  
Said to message "John at robinsin50@gmail"
