It seems that this is probably just one of those information things that puts your address and name onto websites so people can find your address and phone number. I got a call from these guys and was confused and gave them information, but they did not ask for a card number or anything more specific than my age (but not my birthdate). Afterward I felt weird about it and called back. They hung up on me, and I called back about 4 more times before someone answered and I asked to have my name put on a do not call list, so hopefully that works out.  I will have to google search myself later to see whether or not my information has been put anywhere and hopefully I can get rid of it.

this isnt a scam... I actually work for them. When you sign up for a credit card you give your phone number and address..... and they can sell the information to list brokers..... and list brokers use them to telemarket.  

we actually do give prizes out and its not a bad company.   we are located at 105 Jefferson street in Bloomington, IL.

We are getting phone call from this number and sometimes nobody there, or sometimes they ask for Cindy. My caller ID says "Universal Media". Until today I was nice enough to say there is no Cindy then they will say "Sorry, Thank you". But Today, I asked her "Where did you get this number? We don'e have Cindy live here." reply from this lady was "That's all you have to say!" Click!!
Whoever this "Cindy" must be prior owner of our number and has her names everywhere,,,,

B, I just saw your post. If your company is a real then your staff needs to know about better customer service. Just beause I don't see her face or whatever reason she act like a mad B****? Also there were a time in the past your staff told me that our number will be taking off from your list. It is abvious that our number is still exsiting in your list. That's why I asked the lady on the phone today where did you get this number...

You are trying to communicate with a criminal on a web site for complaining about phone numbers ... just a little perspective for you, in case you could b e doing something more productive, that's all ...

They called 3 times in a row while I was on the other line with someone else. A couple hours later I answered when they called again. But I had already googled the number.. so i answered with John and Steve's Adult video warehouse. They hung up and haven't called back lol

Same exact thing happened to me!  Only difference was that when the caller read off my home address, I told her that I hadn't lived there for YEARS cause my ex-husband got the house in my divorce then I pretended to start crying.  The caller apologized and said she would take me off her call list.  We'll see....I had been getting calls DAILY from these [***].

Scam. They gain private information about you and tell you about a Sweepstakes that you've been entered in ''because you have a major debit or credit card'' then tell you about free magazines get a bunch of information- then proceed to tell you at the end that one magazine does cost 4 bucks, but comes out to 19.95$ per month. Sounds shady. I'm a bit worried at this point.
