I received two calls claiming to be from 1-800-DENTIST over the last few days, asking for Sarah (no one of that name at my number)

I went ONLINE to 1-800-DENTIST to Attempt to look for a dentist. They had me fill out a few things like zip code and so fourth and like a dummy I put in my phone number. I THOUGHT I would be able to search for a dentist online rather than over the phone. In less than 30 seconds (I'm NOT kidding) I got 2 calls back to back. If I wanted to talk to someone I would have called them directly! Why have a website you can't use!! 1-800-DENTIST website is absolutley useless!!! Now they won't stop calling! Ugggggggg

I would have been fine with a call the day I filled out the form online or even the day after.  However, they began calling me this morning (three days later).  Naturally, I've already found a dentist on my own - thanks for nothing.

The same thing happened to me...They call at night in the morning anytime..I just sent them a text To stop calling me and remove me from their list..Let's see...

Got a call from this number; I didn't answer, they left no message.  Unlike others above, I never filled out anything for 1-800-Dentist giving my phone number.  I have an unlisted number so don't know how they got to me other than random dialing.  So to those of you above, don't feel bad having left your phone number.  Apparently they would have gotten to you somehow anyway.

Got this call; hung up on them.  I did not fill out any paperwork for them.  Think it's a SCAM.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Just got a call from this number claiming to be 1-800-DENTIST. They left a message for someone named Mary, they said. There is no one here by that name. I use the Mr. Number app to block unwanted calls, and theirs has been blocked so they won't get my phone if they try to call again.

I have had several calls from this number...the last time they just whistled on the phone!! I have a blocked number!!

What a scam!  They left a message on my cell phone at 5 AM - for Mary - same as above.  I was going to call them to tell them they missdialed - but then decided to check the Caller Id and it didn't match the call back number they were giving "Mary" so I got suspicious and looked here.  So I realized this was a very active scam.

Went online to look up Guardian Dental Insurance providers.  Like an dummy I filled out the information requested and now I am receiving phone calls every 15 minutes.  

I did the same . I would never believe this was for profit ! It shall help the patients in pain who need emergency dentist ! 100-DENTIST is causing harm to patients who are already in pain, just for profit.. This is way not ethical ..Number like this shall not be posted & offer "help"  Health care shall not Harm ! The representative from 1800- DENTIST took all my data & offered the best dentist will contact me. I researched this dentist & see very bad evaluation  (only one star under name of his clinic ! ) The next was, that clinic kept calling me.. and more unknown  phone calls ..and more and more ..more phone calls such as 310-215-6407..

I just got a call from this number. No message was received.

I did get a call from this number and they did leave a message.  This is a legit number from a firm that finds dentists in your area and I did go online and request that.
