First call from this number, no message, now blocked

Same as Ted, no Name, no Message.
Now blocked!

Same here, one call last week, another one just 30 minutes ago. Now blocked.

First call came last night, so I put it in my Call Blocker. Another call tonight, blocked with only one ring. Verizon recently increased their block list from 10 to 100. If Hawthorne calls again tomorrow, it will get blocked at the Verizon Central Office. Good bye spammer...

I have other problems with Verizon, but the call blocker isn't one of them.  Wish they had told us when they instituted it, but since they did, have found it very effective.  Being retired and home most of the time, get an incredible number of calls daily.  Having had work done on home, contractor calls come out of woodwork, since they seem to sell their lists.  In the last few days, there have been a few numbers that have tried to call 5 or 6 times in one day, many 3 times within a minute and don't seem to understand they are not going to get through.  LOVE IT!

Even though they are blocked by Sentry, they have still called 3 times a day for the last few days. Persistent pieces of slime.

They call several times a day.  I have it blocked so one ring and gone.  CID says Hawthorne

It is the robot that is persistent, the slime don't even know that the calls are being blocked because the autodialer cycles through the numbers and when somebody picks up, it transfers the call to one of the operators. They don't care that calls are being blockedunless it gets to the point that so many calls are being blocked that the productivity of the robodialer drops off and they have to start thinking about purging out useless numbers.

This number called 3 times, every two hours, and don't leave a message.    Blocked!!!

Got call from this number, did not pick up.  Looked up number on website AllAreaCodes Reverse Phone Number Lookup.  Shows call location is Santa Monica

Rec'd a call from (310) 220-4955 from Elite Home Builders representing themselves on behalf of LA County for the HERO program. They had called many times and I happened to pick up this time. Not sure if this was a legit call or not, but I didn't schedule an appointment for them to come check out my place to do work or energy saving upgrades to my house. If legit, it seems like Elite Home is in a hurry to sign you up to do work before the HERO programs ends or runs out of money. Hero Program subsidizes monies to contractors to do work that homeowners can't afford to do and the contractor turn around and bill the county, as well as the homeowner putting out some money for the work done.

• The HERO loan is recorded against the property as a tax lien.
• The tax lien is in the first position, meaning that if a homeowner goes into default, HERO gets paid before any other creditors, including the lenders that hold the mortgage.
• That first position is so important that the Federal Housing Finance Agency prohibits Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from purchasing mortgages or notes with PACE liens. Weeks ago, an FHFA statement pointed out the risk this first-lien status poses to taxpayers, real estate agents, banks and homeowners about the marketability of a house.

Call twice in 2 hrs today.  Blocked.  Tks for info. JW.
