- JLaPI got a call saying that my bank referred me to be entered into a sweepstakes. I asked a couple questions before she hung up. I was expecting her to 'verify' my bank account number. She knew my name and cell number. Spooky
- MeI just received a call from this number, it was a girl saying from was calling from Publishers Headquarters, in California. She stated I had won a Dreams Come True Sweepsstakes. When I asked, how I was entered, she said my Bank or Credit Card Company had entered me. When I asked which it was, she couldn't tell me. I told her she was trying to pull a scam and not to be calling me again. She got nasty and I told her she was full of shi! - to get a real job and she told me I was full of shi! and I didn't know what I was talking about. She then said, I'll talk to you later bitc!. Now how's that for representing a Sweepstakes! LOL Beware, they want you to verify your credit information and they intend to use it for themselves. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!!!!
- Caller: Publishers Headquarters

- Not Gonna Fall For THIS ONEBEWARE of 310-241-0523 --- this is the number that I just missed a call from so I called them right back. They answer the phone with just a "Hello?" The same girl answered 5 times in a row and I asked who this company is. She replied, "What is your name?" I responded telling her I asked a question first so she repsonded "Did you get a call?". I said I did and again asked who she was/what s her business name and what are they. She refused to say and tried to hang up on me but had a hard time making her 'equipment' disconnect and it took her several tries. When I called back she identified me as the same person who keeps calling and if I would give my name, the...*CLICK*, she hangs up. These people are up to no good. Area code is California. Probably from some prison scam. I'm going to find a way to report this to the police in that area, if that is possible. I sure think they are looking for credit card numbers and bank account number to steal from! Beware.
- pyou people are making me sick we are not a scam company
- ChrisI got a call from them as well... They said that I was a finalist in a sweepstakes of some sort. I asked how I was entered and they said the same response as others, "Your bank or credit card entered you." I said, "That sure is nice of them to do that!"
They had my name and phone number, even had my wife's name. Weird. They said I was a finalist and could get the 6 mags for 48 months, etc...I picked my 6 and the catch was that I had to pay for 1 weekly subcription mag, as previously posted by others. My fear is that they will use my name and address and send me all sorts of magizines with a bill for the shipping and handling. When I refuse to pay, which I will, the problems will start happening. I am in the process of trying to call them back, but it is either busy or keeps ringing. I am using an unknown Google voice number to call back and can't wait to have some fun with them...
My guess is that they have already "left town" and moved on to a different phone number and scam.
If they call you, do not even verify your name, address... Have some fun with them, if you want.- Caller: no name

- JesseI just received a call from 310-241-0523 from a [***]. She told me that I've won $25,000 from a credit card company and congratulations! I asked which company, she said she does not know. But she knows my name and address. Then she wanted to confirm my mailing address, though that’ is my address, but I said "no ,that's not my address". The [***] hung up quickly.
So NEVER NEVER verify anything!- Caller: 310-241-0523

- Spamela replies to jeanI have received calls from this and another (201) 257-4420. I don't answer the 310#. And after reading posts on here I am glad I don't. The 210# is always about gas cards and I always say I don't want them. They keep saying they are free over and over. But then the catch is that it all has to do with some "program". I take the word "program" and interpret it as a scam. These phone calls all started when I was scammed into a deal to try out a new product. I'm pretty sure they will never stop until i get a new phone number.
- Mary ChowThis is some kind of scam call received by lots of different people trying to get information from people.

- Temeca JonesThe individual called claiming to be a creditcard service sweepstakes provider. Assumed if they were legit and had my address send me the bill. Once supervisor spoke to me and I said I do not want to give info at this time...he got really rude and hung up on me. I tried calling back and he hung up on me 2 more times
- Paige| 1 replyThey keep calling me saying I subscribed for a magazine service, which I did NOT. I HAVE been receiving Vogues every month but I never signed up. They called me three times earlier this month and each time I was LIVID when I asked to speak to their supervisor and got the response, "I am the supervisor of this floor." They said I could lower the cost of my subscription; all I had to do was simply give them my credit card number. Yeah, right. Then today I got a call that I'm a finalist in a drawing or some bs like that. I told her I didn't want to speak to her and to take me off of her list and she just hung up on me like they all have. HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP?!?
- Caller: Treasure Cove Readers
- Paige replies to Paige*oops - the woman this time said she was from "Publishers Headquarters" but every other time it's been "Treasure Cove Readers."
- SLF| 1 reply(520) 733-5727 Received a call from this number on December 18,2010 from caller "Hearst". The rest of the dialogue was the same as the other messages on this board. I was entered to win and when I asked how that could happen when I was on the do not call list she said it was my bank or credit card company that had entered me. She verified my address which she already had and then said that this was legit and wished me a happy holiday.
When I called the number back a couple of days later it just rang and rang with no answer.- Caller: Hearst
