This person is a scammer. They responded to a Craigslist add I posted. They sent me a counterfeit certified check for the purchase. They also use the number...646-396-6884

Just had them contact me. Sounded strange wanting me to cash certified check they sent and pay the arranged shipper $1500 with the rest of the money. Red flag

The same thing happened to me as above. This guy responded to me for my craigslist add. He sent me a fake check. Don't believe a word he says.

This Guy tried to do the same thing to me. I thought things were fishy when he wanted me to cash a check and then pay the shipper. Anyway, I searched his number and it brought me to this page. Thanks to y'all he didn't get away with it this time. Thank You. He also used this number... 636-266-2273  

YEP exact same thing here.....  I want to play along and send them a bogus check that bounces on them!

First received text from 210-660-5719,  then used the 310- number

so got a text from 210-739-0238 say he wanted my item and would send a check then said his phone was about to die and text me off of 310-307-0791 i new he was a leg puller but went with it told him were to send the check told him i want same day and that if he sent over the amount he would have to lose his [***] and find another way to pay another way to get it picked up he/she said okay guess what no word yet hmm what i thought funny thing he said ill wait for it to clear lol how the hell is that going to happen do dumb what do they get at by doing this there no way in hell i would have took his check and let him go with the item with out it clearing anyways what a joker beware 90% i get are like this !!!

Got txts about my craigslist ad this morning from 210-660-5719 then was told battery is dead. Then got txts from 310-307-0791. Could tell right away that it's a scam cuz msgs appear copied and pasted and they were out of order. Wanted my physical address - of course I didn't give them my real address! Said they r going to send certified check and as soon as it clears let them know so shipping company can be notified for pick up and I pay them directly. Then I asked why can't they pay the shipped directly.... No reply!
