- Christib76| 9 repliesCall from Beverly Hills, ca. Left vmail saying there was a complaint against me and they had a "hurricane" of documents to send to my place of employment, gave me a case #. No contact name or company was left. Sounds very sketchy.

- April| 3 repliesThis number called me with the last 4 digits of my social and claimed to be a debt collector for a Capital One account and they were going to sue me. I happen to work for a debt collection company and told them that according to the FDCPA it is against the law to threaten to sue, she then basically said see you in court and hung up on me.
- Caller: In House Processing for the State of CA

- BigA replies to April| 2 repliesWell, this is certainly rich. One crook trying to scam another crook (well you did say you work for a DC did you not?).
- Todd replies to Christib76Same message for me this morning. I got one from a different number in Minnesota yesterday. Definitely a scam.
- Tygerkat replies to BigANot something one should brag about, in my opinion.
- MDawgIt's a collection agency. In this case calling for whoever used to have my cell phone, not even for me.
- Caller: Collection Agency
- Call type: Debt collector

- Rose| 3 repliesThese are scammers. I received a called today. They are unprofessional and threatened to embarrass me by serving me with legal papers at my place of employment for something I did not owe money to. They stated that I must provide them with my credit card number at that moment in time. They then proceeded to recite the last four of my social as well as the names of people in my family. This is definitely a scam. I requested that they email or mail me proof so that I may review it with my husband, who happens to be an attorney. At that point they hung up the phone of me. SCAMMERS!

- JasmineThey've called 2-3 times a day for a week and a half, leaving messages while I'm at work. It starts with an automated recording stating that there's a complaint against my husband but when he called back they refuse to give him any information as to who they are, what "the complaint" being made is pertaining to and who the complaint was made by. It's ridiculous, what a waste of time! Get a life Alice! (The only shred of info she gave was her name, more than likely it's as fake as the complaints/debts she's calling about!)
PLEASE REACH OUT TO ALICE AT 310-362-0802 EXT. 2001 IF/WHEN YOU'VE GOT SOME TIME ON YOUR HANDS. 😉😆- Caller: ALICE - 310-362-0802 ext. 2001

- NicoleLeft me a message indicating there was a complaint against my social security number and left a case number for me to call to avoid "legal documents" being served to me at home and at my place of business. When I talk to them they claimed I had a payday loan I did not pay back and that the company was suing me for it. When I asked them to repeat the company name they insisted I first verify my full social security number. When I refused they said well it really does not matter because we have it anyway. When I asked why they would call rather than just serve me with the papers they began to talk really fast trying and told me they had no reason to argue with me. When they answered the phone the claimed they were from "in house processing" but no company name. When I called again they gave a different name. Every time I asked what company they represented they could not answer me.

- TylerGot call from same #, same deal as everyone else reporting here. They claimed to have a complaint about a debt. Wouldnt give me any more info and threatened to serve papers at my home or work. I said I'd see them and court and the lady hung up. total scam! scary thing is... they new the last 4 of my social. actually knew the whole social # but I would not confirm it. And they had called my mother in-law about me to.
- Kimgot a call from same # with the same as everyone else.. a complaint against my SS for a payday loan. When I asked to have something in writing sent to me showing what i owed, she said she can't assure me that i will receive that information other than court papers. I asked to speak to a manager, Brittany said no and then good luck and hung up on me. Called back asked for a manager, he hung up on me and then when I called back again they said I was trying to "avoid paying my debts" and good luck in court.

- gwillow replies to Christib76I got the same type of voicemail. They never said the name of the caller or the company. It sounded like a recorded message. it was like two different people talking. This did not sound like a scam. I just blocked the number. The strange part they call my son's phone which is listed under my name, even more strange.
- AnnoyedAll last week I got a call from a different number that said Bagdad, KY and now this week i"m getting a call form Beverly Hills, CA all with the same message: they call me at my direct number at work and leave a message for someone who doesn't even work here saying they have a complaint against them and need to verify their home or work address to send documents.

- AnonymKeeps calling saying they have a complaint against me to give them a call back to so they can get my personal info to send papers to my home or work address, this is your final warning good luck. Not sure who or what they want. They just started calling a week ago. Doesn't say who they are except I finally chose to hit a # and someone named Allison answered and said In House Processing. In House Processing for what is my question. This sounds like a scam. I've already contacted the AG, FBI and FTC.
