Random call from cedar sinai. Wanting my social security number tax id number. By 1pm today.

Called at 4:30pm, 03/04/20. Left no message. Seems spoofed.

said that I owe hospital bill.  Want me to pay. They will accept gift cards. I hung up.

Unknown caller. Left no msg. If someone is spoofing Cedar's number, then the phone companies should verify a number before letting it go through. They have the technology but make money off these scams.

I got a call 11:49 am, twice, and it sounded like an operation machine in the hospital. I said “hello” no one responded.

Person named Margaret said she needed to speak to a Dr about a transport. Clearly a prank. Called at 10:30 pm so I googled the number. I don't know anyone at Cedars-Sinai in LA.

Got a call from this number at 2:19pm today 9/2/2021 ironically. Googled it and first thing I see is your post

This number is being spoofed and asking people who answer it to contact the number on WhatsApp to review banking information. This is a scam. Ignore it

Got two calls in a row with no messages.  Apparently, this is a scam spoofing Cedars Sinai.

I got a call from this same number and they did not leave a message either. However, my phone labeled it as spam.
