Just received automated message from this number as well. I don't plan on calling it back.

Received automated message claiming IRS from Office Johnson. I did not speak when answering the call and I heard a tone, then the message started. I'm not sure if a real person was on the other end who would have talked with me had I said "hello" first.

Just got a call from this number and msg says Nikki Johnson from the IRS is calling. My phone says the call is out of Malibu, Ca. I called back 3x's on company phone and no answer

I've gotten 2 calls today from this number.  Did not call it back.  Said they were with the IRS.
Been told that the IRS does Not call people and it's a scam.

They called me and left that robomessage about Johnson from IRS and taking immediate action. What a joke. First, IRS doesn't call you ( I have had some experience with them) and they don't have offices in Malibu, hello!! Nor would you have to call a non-toll free number. And what business would end their message with "take care" Really??? I was going to block the number, but I think I might answer it next time they call- just for the entertainment value.  This a total scam.

I received 2 calls today from this number 310-579-2813 the first one I answered they second one I  did not and they left the message.  very difficult to understand.  I called back just to find out what it was and it just rings.  complete scam

got a call from this #, and the record was playing back, then I called back but my phone connected me to international # 011, it is a scam for sure. it was a woman voice, and saying about the IRS, and you need to call back before more actions.   Just a stupid scam.

Where can we report this to?  I received the same call claiming to be IRS today and didn't think the IRS made calls.

got a 2nd call and called back and some guy picked up the phone and when he could not help me he started cussing and calling me a mother f@#$%^&

Robo message. Says time sensitive and to call right away. SCAM!

Called me yesterday saying I was being charged with 3 counts of blah blah blah.  Said his name is Frank Howard with IRS.  Told my boss because I thought I was in some deep you know what even though Im legit on my taxes.  Friend called him back yelling asking what his real name?  He said "Babu" and cussed her out being a total pervert.  They keep leaving robo messages.  I blocked#.  Ugh!  What a sicko this jerk is!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Just read the above responses.  I had the same experience just now.  Recording, hard to understand, kind of creepy, esp when recording ended the call by saying, "take care".   I tried calling back, but after 4 rings I hung up.  Like someone above wrote, I didn't think the IRS made phone calls.

Received to calls one from this number and one from 209-854-4999 both with same message from IRS Nicki Johnson when you call back people are very rude and start asking for information. My caller ID shows Malibu from the 310 and Gustine from the 209
