have now received 2 phone calls.  This is on my cell.  By the time I answered, they were gone.  Left no message

Received the same call others have described. I'm also on the national and my state's do not call lists, not sure it helps though.

Called- left no message

Called 2 X. No message and hung up.

Phone rang @2:33PM---called id said dr recommended w the # 310-579-6028 showing. I answered & voice said-Hi I'm emily  how are you???/ Irked me----no last name---plus the how are you----if she cared how i am she'd allready know. When she said that i hung up. Didn't call back.  Something i've noticed tho-----we get all these stupid telemarketing calls-even on the do not call list but the computer ones-----there's a pause then you hear an odd sound like a beep then the voice so when you answer a suspect call listen for that odd sound. The words on the id w # is being crooked---they are hiding their name!!!!!! CROOKS. If they call again-i'm doing what above caller did answer & listen w/o speaking just to irk them.

Same call as described by everyone else.  I called back to be opted out of future calls.  

Called my home in Michigan around 1:15 p m EST answering machine picked up, they left no message.

again all telemarketing to cellular phones is illegal.do not call list or otherwise.report # to http://www.fcc.gov.also:send text message to offending # advising them of ur intent to do so.(this jams up the robot momentarily)

Caller ID comes up "Malibu CA". Did not answer. Glad I didn't, especially after reading these posts.

I received a call at 4:04 pm on June 25, 2014.  I did not answer and the caller did not leave a message.   My caller ID said, " DRRECOMMENDED."  My number is on the Do Not Call list.  I did not recognize the caller's number.

The phone rang until my ans machine picked up. The call ends. I am on the registry for the do not call list. It does absolutely no good.

Incorrect.
However, it is evident that your understanding of the DNC list is sadly lacking.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

Got call from pain clinic her name was Emily. After she babbled for a few seconds she ask me if I was on pain. I said no. She hung up on me. What scam was she trying to run. They make all laugh.

Called on 6/24 @ 11:32am  Caller ID said DRRECOMENDED.

To Scammers:
We're on the DNC list. What do you REALLY think the chances are that we're interested in your fake-out? Seriously? Have I got a bridge to sell YOU!
