Auto message for my husband stating a complaint being filed against him. Left # and case #. He deleted the message.
I called it back to day.

Address 220 Park Ave Manhatten, NY ( no such address)
30311 (Georgia zip)
Her name: Stacy Pope
I asked why was a CA number calling me is she answered in Manhattten?
She said they have auto dialers from numbers all over the country.
I thanked her for her time.

Between the two calls I made back to them, I  figured out this is a very old debt, 18 years, that my husband was suppose to pay and didn't after a divorce.
I filed a complaint with Cfpb and my state attorney general. I don't think much will come of it because the info that was given is false. Good news is both phone numbers had a person answer. But by tomorrow they'll be using a new number.
