This company called me. I was polite; I said I was not interested in participating because I was uncomfortable talking about my family's medical conditions over the phone. The man totally ignored me and just kept talking about why I needed to participate, refusing to accept that I had said a firm NO. I hung up. They proceeded to call me at least once a day over the next week when I wasn't home, I would see the missed number on my caller ID. Yesterday I was home when they called and I picked up and said right away that I want to be put on their DO NOT CALL list. Even THEN, the man kept talking until I just hung up. If they call me ever again I'm reporting them to the FTC.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I continuously get calls from area code 310-579-6430, allegedly, this is UCLA doing a health medical report. I was polite initially, and advise the caller on the phone I elected not to participate in their survey, not to call me anymore, and to lose my telephone number and shortly thereafter terminated the telephone call. I guess this must of infuriated the person because I continuously and habitually receive phone calls from this number. The only resolution to this matter appears to be (1) contact the FCC, (2) contact the president of UCLA and lodge a formal complaint, (3) put this on Facebook, twitter, Insta graph, and yelp.

Here is information for UCLA Chancellor Gene Block, I'm sure that he would not want to be inundated with telephone calls, faxes or letters directly to his office regarding this matter as to receiving numerous unwanted, unsolicited surveys from UCLA.

The data interviewer claims the survey takes 30 minutes with a 2 minute pre-screener. They want your name, DOB (Age), Address, income, Sex, Sexual Preference, County Of Origin, and ask health related questions.

Who knows where this data will be sold, copied, or given to. While they have a page titled Assurance of Confidentiality, this does not prevent rogue entities from stealing and selling your personal information.

This number calls nearly every day, and each time I told them not to call.  I finally called the above listed number for Gwen and told her that if my number is not taken off of their list and continue to be called I am going to call her phone and her cell phone every single day until it stops.  Let's see if that works.

The reason why they continue to call you, despite your telling them to put you on the "do not call list," is because the UCLA Health Survey is not telemarketing--they are not trying to sell you something.  The Do Not Call list is for telemarketing, i.e., callers who are attempting to sell something to you.

California Health Survey. I have a degree in Sociology, I'm actually ok with legit short surveys, so I started it with them. However, the questions became too personal, & I stopped them & hung up.

This is a telemarketing company POSING as the UCLA medical survey. They are fishing for names and numbers of people who can afford something like health insurance. I spent ten minutes on the phone with them until it dawned on me that their questions had nothing to do with a health survey, and everything to do with grabbing data about the members of the household for telemarketing purposes. They are so very clever about mentioning the UCLA health survey, but it is a deceit used to gain information about potential telemarketing customers.

I get calls from 310-579-6430 almost daily. I have asked several times to be taken off their list. Today, I was told they do not have a list and he proceeded to keep asking questions.

IMHO this problem can be resolved without getting upset, threatening this, that and the other.
When I called in I connected with a young lady. I explained the situation and that I would appreciate being on a DNC list.
I tried to be very pleasant and professional; she did the same. We compared my number in question, she found it on her computer and was taking me off the list before we said our good byes. I do not use her name to make sure she is not in trouble with her boss(es) - not that she gave me the impression that might be an issue.
    Thank you!
    Case closed (I hope)

This is a legitimate UCLA health survey. They contacted me by mail before the first call. It's not a scam but the survey may take up to 45 minutes and they ask some personal health questions. I can understand some people may not want to deal with it, so you may have speak with someone in administration to be removed from being called.

Claims to be a survey sponsored by UCLA.  I'm skeptical over these types of calls and researched the originating number.  Many of the recipients found this type of call a scam, so I've opted out of the "survey" and will refuse to answer any questions.
