We picked the number, we have opted out, we have talked to a real person- who rudely hung up on us-- and still they call ON THE HOUR, EVERY HOUR.  We are turning off the ringer on our phone to avoid these calls.  Is there any other solution?  We are already on the do not call list.

I keep getting calls from these people and they don't always use the same phone number in regards to what is posted on the caller ID. They call from all over the United States. I get a different phone number every time they call. I would like to know who these people are so that I can make sure that they never make these kind of calls again. This has to be some kind of scam. They keep informing me that it is the final notice that my warranty on my car is about to expire. How can this be if I don't even own a car? I have reported this number to the FCC but the calls continue. How can I get these calls to stop. Even opting out does not work. If you try to opt out, they will only increase the number of calls you will get. When you speak with a live person they treat you like garbage and then they hang up on you. I would so like to call them at all hours of the day just to see how they like it.

Bill Ranney, Jr. replies to Timberwood
Hi, I'm the President of General Warranty Services, the company that's bothering you.  I'm a huge [***] with a flimsy Product/Service that's been around for less than six months but has still garnered enough bad attention to fill posts and threads throughout the web with venom about my shady company.  My business model is to have my poor employees call you constantly with no regard to "No-call lists" and requests to be removed from our sales list to try and trick you into thinking that this is your last chance to extend a warranty on a vehicle that I have no idea of the make/model/year or even if it exists.  It's likely that the person calling you has also been duped by my job ads stating they can make $700 - $1200 weekly, though there are many people like the girl who wrote this complaint ( http://www.complaints.com/2008/april/19/General_Warranty_Services__167764.htm ) about making $45 for 54 hours worked.  Whenever you receive multiple phone calls from General Warranty Services, and find yourself on the edge of losing your mind I encourage you call me, Bill Ranney at 603-685-6250 ext. 1141 as many times as my unethical company has called you and please let me have it.  P.S. I make love to children, animals and things that have died.
