This individual, or company is calling cell phone numbers...

Must be some type pf call center, mine was trying to "take care of those predatory lenders" and it was "imperative " to call

A recorded message said I had over $6k in credit card debt and to press 1 for help to reduce my debt.  I pressed 1 and told the live person to take me off their call list and of course she hung up on me immediately.  My phone number is unlisted and only a few months old.  I am sure the "$6k" is a random number they think will apply to most americans and fool people into thinking they have real data.

same at others on here. pre recorded voice saying i have 6k in debt and my apr is over 26%. ya right. this is spam.. just hang up no point in getting some live in the phone there just doing there job when you press 1. just hang up. and no i dont work for the company. i just hate when people hang up on he at my job and im the one answering the phone.

Same thing. It says that I owe 6k. No need to worry, its spam. Can't they just leave us alone?

Just got a call from them, i didn't answer and they didn't leave message.

A recording offering me some free laserjet printer ink or something like that.. likely a scam.

Recorded message: Press 2 for free printer cartridge; their message starts when answering machine picks up, so missed the whole intro.  We are also listed on do-not-call, these L.A. [***] just don't care and not yet that sophisticated.

Pre-recorded call claiming to be from Laser Tech, offering a free toner or ink cartridge and a restaurant gift certificate.  Had an opt-out option, but why should I trust them to honor it?
The recording mentioned the number 800-291-8133.

called at 11:18 am on 8/14/09, didn't leave VM.  Upon calling back, you have to press 1 to opt out of future telemarketing calls.

Caller will not leave a message but makes several hang-up calls

Was trying to sell photocopy machine. It was an automated message

I didn't answer.  Caller hung up upon hearing voice mail message.
