I reside in PA but my phone has a Texas area code. I received a call from this number at 4:26 pm. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

The best thing to do to these people is to string them along for as long as you possibly can.  I just got off a call and was able to waste this guy's time for about 5 minutes before he realized he was being scammed.  The longest I've gotten so far is about 40 minutes.  Make it as unprofitable as possible for these people - because they are annoying and rude and refuse to remove people from their list.

i have gotten several calls from this number and other, but they all said the same thing:  1st/2nd/last warning about your car warranty expired...so annoying!

Live in Texas. Got one today about 5:15pm.
Hit 1 and asked to be removed from call list. This is the 2nd time I've asked. All they do is hang up. Annoying, but whatever. Next time I'll get their name and whatnot.

It's a scam.. once you accept their call they direct you to a bill collector. It's just a new way for bill collectors to get a hold of you.

call them from pay phone as call collect .

call them from pay phone make  a call collect let them keep paying huge bills.........

Just got this call, I was confused because I don't own a car! Lately I've been researching a few scams that I've had personal experiences with - I was able to tell that it was a scam immediately. Good thing there is the internet and pages like this where people may be warned!

I agree.  They are trying to scam as much money/minute as possible.  Take lots of the time and keep them off someone else.  Eventually they will not call.  I never made it close to 40 minutes though.

just got a call from this number. nowhere NEAR my area code. hmph, probably a telemarketer!

Anyone know how to get your cell on a do not call list?

i just got the exact same call, first one, they arent going to call agian are they? cuz i dont like people playin on my phone.
