- mtc| 5 repliesThey called me telling me that my car warranty was about to expire and asked for the make and model of my car. I asked them, shouldn't you already know that you called me?! The person hung up! I called back and the voicemessage said " your name has been taken off the list and are not eligable for the warranty" ..... I think its some kind of scam!!!
- jwa replies to mtc| 2 repliesI just got a call from that number. Did you happen to just purchase your vehicle? I just purchased mine off lease and I'm waiting for the plates. I'm wondering if it's a vehicle scam. Cloning VIN#s.
- BCH replies to jwa| 1 replyJust got the same call. Have not purchased a car in 13 years.
- rlojr2000 replies to BCHI just got a call from this number and did not recognize it. So I screened it. Glad I did. They did not leave a voice mail. I have been getting some mailings about extending my car warranty as I purchased my car about 3 years ago this month.
- Big DThey called my cell to solicit a car warranty. I told them to take my name off their list, they hung up!

- GeneI too got missed call from this number with no voice message. Glad I did not take the call.
- JoeI have been getting the same call twice a week for some time now. I tried using the automated option to take my number off the list but it never worked. So I finally spoke with someone, I told them I wanted off the calling list and they just hung up. There is no way a legit business acts like this.
- chrisHe calls, and I had asked him if he knew my name, and he said shutup [***] and hung up, what's up with that??

- JTHappened to miss the call, came straight to this website as I did not recognize the area code. I bought a used car a year and a half ago, been getting calls/mail like this since. Tried calling back, both times got a stuck-up sounding female telling me to press "1" to remove myself from the list. Too bad I couldn't reach anyone, would have been fun to toy with them!
- lisathis number also just called me and said my car insurance is expired and i pressed the numbers on the promps to get to an actual person and i told the person that i dont own a car and i am 15 and they have called me like 3 times before saying the same thing and i said i wanted to be taken off the list and the man told me they are calling because they are going to burn my house down and kill my mother and my father.

- CLD replies to mtcI just got a call from this number. No one spoke when I said Hello, so I scanned the number. Yes, we just purchased a vehicle as others on this site mentioned. I agree that this might be a scam thing.
Car thieves are always looking for parts, so I'm curious if they are trying to verify where certain cars are located. If scammers get addressed they could easily send a crew and try to steal a car parked outside.
This number is from Compton, Ca. Enough said right there... - fredI just got the call 5 minutes ago on my cell phone, and i haven't purchased a car in years.
- JefffI just got a call from this too...didn't answer, called back and it said "press 1 to add to do not call list" so I did.
- menow i kinda wished i'd answered.
i love it that they dont know if you own a car and which one it is, so i start freaking out on the phone that "i just bought a brand new f****** car. how is it possible that my warranty is about to expire? the d*** car cost 60,80 grand. what assh**** at 'insert luxury brand here'? what the hell are they doing over there?" and then just hang up if you cant keep it going.
start wasting their time like they do ours. get them to set up something and then hang up. like "oh my got, you are right. i am almost at 50K miles. isnt that when the warranty expires or was it 60. i dont remember anymore. i am driving a three year old Maybach"
i once told a dating company's agent i'd pushed my husband off the roof (he'd been cheating me with a friend of mine) and was not interested in long term relationships, only casual dating. they never called again.
and dont even bother with "do not call lists" on cell phone numbers. as long as there is no law to enforce it, you are just putting a VALID and WORKING number on their list that they can give/sell to their buddies or take it to "another" company. you'll possibly get more calls from simmilar enterprises. it doesnt take a lot time or money to change this number and the name of the company.
that was a lot, hope it helps.- Call type: Event reminder
- DerekThis company gets it's info from EMI Encore Marketing (301-459-8020 or 301-731-5147), they made an unathorized charge to my credit card with me knowing. Encore or Easy Savers then sells your info to other companies such as this one. They took my info from Proflowers.com website in conjuntion with a purchase of flowers. I believe this company and Proflowers to be miss leading and I will never use Proflowers.com again...
