Just got a call from this number..looked up the area code and found this...crazy

Stupid automated message. "This is a second notice that the factory warranty on your vehicle may have expired..."   This is always where I hang up.

Just had one from an automated thing with a female voice talking about driving without a warranty.

It's a scam, trying to steal Identity. Go to donotcall.gov, register your number and after one month you can complain about these scamsters.

There are 2 people in our household, about 2 weeks ago we both got a call on our cell phone, an automated message. "This is a SECOND notice that the factory warranty on your vehicle may have expired...".  I hung up. Later I got the call again and waited until it told me what number to press to stop the calls, and I did. I then put both of our cell numbers on the "do not call list".
I just got a call today... automated message. "This is THE FINAL notice that the factory warranty on your vehicle may have expired...". I pressed 1 to speak to someone. A female answered. I asked what car they were referring to. She said all she knows is that someone in the household owns a 1995 or newer car. (My girlfriend does!) I said "I don't own a car" and asked her not to call again.  She said I would be put on the "do not call list".  They must be getting info from the DMV? I thought recorded telemarketing calls were illegal to cell numbers!

Robot message about car warranty that everybody else is getting. I am picking up next time and exploding on these people.

Now i need to wait until i get another... Maybe try calling the number?

yea, I got the same msg several times and I don't even own a car and has NEVER own a car in the US. How stupid is that?

My cell phone is on "the Do-NOT-Call List". And I do NOT like to be interrupted at dinner (or elsewhere!) by garbage like this.  The land-line is also "Do-NOT-Call listed", and gets this junk all the time (due to no caller-id).  I would love to put these people in prison for life (on their own accounts!) and get a chance to legally "atomize" ALL of their computers!!!!!

You mentioned getting bothered during dinner.  Here's a tip.  SHUT OFF YOUR PHONE.  I too get calls like this.  If I don't recognize the number, I simply don't answer and no one in our house answers the phone during dinner.  Cell phones are off.  Now, I know my cell phone number is not registered at the RMV so they are getting my number from somewhere else. It could be simply originated by computer.  Rather than bust a gut trying to find out how they got my number, I choose not to be a slave to my electronics, not to say "How high" when my phone says jump.  If the call is important from someone I don't know, they will leave a message.

Keeps calling me telling me my auto warranty has expired.

I reverse look up this number to Digitcom Services which sells "throw away" numbers. Then I looked up the number through them and got a toll free number and a fax number for Telephone managment. But the fax number goes to Qwest Corp. in Portland OR. As far as I can tell Qwest offers no services in my state. I don't know exactly what they want because they call my cell which I don't answer if I don't recognize the caller.

This phone number has been calling me a lot and I usually don't answer, but when I do there is noone there and its very irritating.

I get a call almost everyday now about my car's warranty expiring from a different number every time. well i dont own a car thats under my name so how do these scumbags get my cell phone number. i dont have anything thats related to cars that has my cell number on there.
