Me too... The ID'd themselves as Paul Davis and rambled off four digits asking me if this was my Visa card... When I interrupted him and began questioning who he was and who he worked for he couldn't even understand the questions as he barely spoke English..He went on to say he was from Visa and my account was in such great standing I won $150 in gas... He then began to try and verify my address... I stopped him said I do not want you to call me anymore... if you have something you would like me to review mail it to me.... He tried to continue and I hung up....

wow this just happened to me too! Funny I don't have a visa anymore! but they had my mailing address. what and who are these peopleand do i need to be concerened?

I just got the same call.  I told them I wasn't available.  I did call the number back and all it said was to push a certain number if I did not want to be called by that number again.  It must be a telemarketing company.  I'd recommend avoiding that call.  The strange thing is my numbers are on the no-call list for my home and cell and they still have found a way to call me.  Strange huh?

Yeah, I called them back after telling them NO to the free gas offer.  It's really scary they had my Debit card number from BECU, AND the security code on the back, along with my address.  I got the same "if you don't want to recieve more offers" blah blah or something like that.  I want to know how they got my number and Info.  It's my cell phone. Nobody has that.

This sounds very very similar to what happened to me.  When I tried to talk or ask questions, he didn't seem to understand english.  But good luck interrupting him.  This is very suspicious.  I cancelled my card and had a credit watch placed just to make sure nobody did anything with the info.  They had everything to steal my ID, not good if they forget to shred something later on...
