I received a call from this number today. When I answered the heavily accented gentleman said his name was something like "Chen or Chan" then went on to say that our number had been selected to receive several coupons for our grocery shopping worth over $100 a piece. I asked him what company he worked for and why we were selected and he said that it was because we had shopped at one of their marketing affiliates stores with our "plastic card" and this was a reward. The company he said he worked for was Super Savings. I've never heard of them so I asked him what their website address was and he said Super Savings and then spelled savings. So I said .com? and he repeated the entire script of his name and what I'd been selected to receive. I looked up supersavings.com while I was on the phone with him and the page had nothing to do with anything he was telling me about. So I asked him were he was calling from and that I did not want to have to pay for anything, or be part of a promotion that I had to sign up for and cancel later. He stated that that would not happen as it was all free. I stated that I was not interested and felt it was a scam so he repeated it all again stating that he just needed my name and address and he could mail it out to me and I could see for myself. I asked what information he already had and he said my name and phone number. The name he supplied to me was my father's name. My father was elderly died over a year and a half ago. I pointed that out to him and he stated that sometimes their information may be old. He then stated everything again but this time asked me to write down his name and ID number so that I knew it wasn't a scam. This time he gave me the name of Tommy Jackson. Tommy Jackson!?? What happened to Chan. So I asked to speak to his supervisor. He transfered me to another accented gentleman (not as heavily accented as Tommy-Chan though) and I asked what it was all about. He said that because we had used our "plastic card" at a store we were now going to receive some coupons. I asked what kind of plastic card, as I was thinking maybe a Fred Meyer or Safeway reward card, but he answered Visa. Whoa! Red flag! My parents only used MasterCard. I told him that the name he had listed did not have a Visa and he then started arguing with me. My dad was sick for a long time and I was the one who took him where he needed to go, so I think I'd know. I gave up on that aspect though and I asked what he needed from me. He stated just my verification. I asked how much the coupons cost and he said "Just $3.99 for shipping." I told him I wasn't interested and he said I wouldn't be billed for the $3.99 for 3 days. He then read me my address. I again repeated that I was not interested and he asked if I was sure. I responded absolutely. We'll see if they mail something anyway. *sigh* At least if they try to bill the invisible credit card it won't work.

Just got a call from these people. Company named Gold Coast. I've been chosen to get free $300 gas card. I just should pay $3.50 one time shipping fee. After that they were asking for expiration date on any of my cards. I said 'if you don't care about what card it is put 6/10' They said they need actual numbers because they have to put the same numbers on their card...

The caller ID on my telephone says Promo Offers.  They call repeatedly at 8:00 in the morning, which is the most annoying time for a telemarketer to call anyone at home. When I pick up the phone, I only hear a clicking sound.  I guess the computer is trying to select one of the calls.  After reading the comments on this webpage, I'm happy that I haven't had a chance to speak to anyone.  However, I'm extremely annoyed by the phone ringing so early in the morning.  Getting pissed off first thing in the morning is not the best way to start the day.

i have been getting calls for 2 weeks from this number.  They called today, Sunday, and I finally picked up.  The guy has a heavy indian accent and says I have been 1 of 25 chosen to receive $100 in gas vouchers.  All I need to do is pay 2.99 for shipping and handling.  He gave me his name, James DeCosta, and id number.  He then recited my address and name, and told me all he needed for me to do is read off my credit card number and they'd send my vouchers.  I told him I was not giving my credit card number to someone over the phone who I knew nothing about and who could rob me blind.  He said "well, maam, you use your card at the grocery store..." and I said , "yes, but I know who I'm paying then.  I'm not interested, take me off the list."  He then argues with me and i hung up.  THEN, he calls me right back and I didn't answer, so he hangs up and calls back again immediately.  I picked up the phone and said "WHAT".  He agains badgers me and asks what my hang up is. I said, I don't know you, or your company and I will not give you my credit card number.  He says, Have a blessed day maam, and I hung up.  I am very angry at having been badgered and harrassed like this and I am hoping I can report them to someone who can take care of this problem.

These people have been calling me for 2 weeks, we told them NOT to call us again & have at least 1-2 times everyday since - even as late as 9:30p.m.  Very heavy Indian accent that I can't even understand trying to tell me that I've won a gas card & verifies my mailing address.  I have tried to call the number back & it says if you want to be removed from their call list to press "1".  It doesn't work because they have continued to call me for the past 2 days. Ready to report them to consumer protection in Wisconsin.

I have also been receiving calls from these people for 2 weeks. The first time they called I supposedly had purchased gas at a station that submitted our name for a $100.00 gas card. He had such an accent it was hard to understand what he was saying. All it would cost would be $2.99 shipping and he just needed the expiration # on any plastic card we had. He named off about 10 plastic cards and I told him sorry, I didn't have any credit cards. He just kept persisting and I finally told him, Sorry, not interested, and hung up.
I called the number back to see what Co. it was and got the recording to press 2 to be removed from their calling list. That didn't work because they keep calling, so I just pick up the phone, say "sorry, not interested " and hang up. Hopefully they will get shut down soon.

These people called me up yesterday trying to get my mom's credit card number, then moved on to me when I refused to give that up or tell them what kind of card she had. Since I don't have a credit card, they didn't get anything useful out of me. They called me again today and I told them to put me on their do not call list then hung up. I've found out that they are operating out of Compton, California-or at least, that's where their phone number is listed. Hopefully they'll be brought down soon.

we have been receiving calls from this number numerous times over the past few weeks both at 8:45am and sometimes in the late afternoon. always an indian/middle eastern guy called "alan" or something. i was asked to be removed from the list, my spouse screamed at him another time. to no avail - still getting these calls! i tried calling back the number and heard a recorded msg saying, "we are sorry if we have reached you by error. we only buy and call business listings. to be put on our do not call list, please press 1" i press 1, and the msg just repeats, and i still get calls!

These people are calling me 10 times a day.  All times of day from early in the morning till real late at night.  I've told numerous times to stop calling me and they keep insisting.  As soon as I tell them to stop calling me they just hang up on me and call back within an hour.  I'm tired of them.  How did they get my cell phone number?  That's where they are calling me.

I also received a call from number 818-870-9155. If you are googling this. Please do not give them your credit card number. They told me that I was one of 2 people in the United States that Had been randomly selected for a survey. I am a Christian and felt like the Holy Spirit told me that these people were frauds, but my heart broke for them. I do not know why they are doing this, but they are desperate people who are trying to get rich quick. I forgive them for trying to take advantage of me and hope that no one else gives them their credit information. I explained that they should be giving out of their hearts not to get things.
