Received call from an obvious call center operation pushing stock symbol MCIG. Claims to be a "market research" company. Clearly a pump-and-dump scam. Stock quote shows the tell-tale signs of such an operation. Sudden increase in volume, rising price. Phone operation to get folks to buy in, then the party sponsoring the pump-and-dump sells their shares high, and all the suckers who fell for the phone calls are stuck with a worthless stock.

Possible Pump and Dump like Dan said but could be worse?  Tried to get more information from me.

Caller did not leave a  message on machine. I called back and reached a Voicemail message.

Dan and Debbie, thanks for the information, I will steer clear of this scam.

Have talked to these guys a few times. I too thought it was a classic pump and dump but they kept calling. Today I got the "inside tip" and a suggestion that I buy a few shares. Now thinking its a classic bank information gathering scam.
